2LeaveG1544outG1544thecourtyardαὐλὴνaulēnG833which is outsideG1855thetempleναοῦnaouG3485and do not measureμετρήσῃς,metrēsēsG3354it, becauseὅτιhotiG3754it has been givenἐδόθηedothēG1325to the nationsἔθνεσιν·ethnesinG1484; and they willtrampleπατήσουσινpatēsousinG3961the holyἁγίανhagianG40cityπόλινpolinG4172forforty-twoδύο.¶duoG5065G1417monthsμῆναςmēnasG3376.
3And I will grantδώσωdōsōG1325authorityto my twoδυσὶνdusinG1417witnessesμάρτυσίνmartusinG3144,and they will prophesyπροφητεύσουσινprophēteusousinG4395for1,260χιλίας διακοσίας ἑξήκονταchilias diakosias hexēkontaG5507G1250G1835daysἡμέραςhēmerasG2250,clothedπεριβεβλημένοιperibeblēmenoiG4016insackclothσάκκους.sakkousG4526.”
5And ifεἴeiG1487anyoneτιςtisG5100wantsθέλειtheleiG2309to harmἀδικῆσαι,adikēsaiG91them,fireπῦρpurG4442flowsG1607outG1607of their mouthστόματοςstomatosG4750and devoursκατεσθίειkatesthieiG2719their enemiesἐχθροὺςechthrousG2190; and soifεἴeiG1487anyoneτιςtisG5100wantsθελήσῃthelēsēG2309to harmἀδικῆσαι,adikēsaiG91them,he mustδεῖdeiG1163be killedἀποκτανθῆναι.apoktanthēnaiG615inG3779thisG3779wayG3779.
6TheseοὗτοιhoutoiG3778haveἔχουσινechousinG2192the powerἐξουσίανexousianG1849toshutκλεῖσαιkleisaiG2808upG2808the skyοὐρανὸνouranonG3772,soἵναinaG2443thatG2443rainὑετὸςhu'etosG5205will not fallβρέχῃbrechēG1026duringthe daysἡμέραςhēmerasG2250of their prophesyingπροφητείαςprophēteiasG4394;and they haveἔχουσινechousinG2192powerἐξουσίανexousianG1849overἐπὶepiG1909the watersὑδάτωνhudatōnG5204toturnστρέφεινstrepheinG4762them into bloodαἷμαhaimaG129, andto strikeπατάξαιpataxaiG3960the earthγῆνgēnG1093with everyπάσῃpasēG3956plagueπληγῇplēgēaG4127,as oftenὁσάκιςhosakisG3740as they desireθελήσωσιν.thelēsōsinG2309.
7WhenὅτανhotanG3752they have finishedτελέσωσινtelesōsinG5055their testimonyμαρτυρίανmarturianG3141,the beastθηρίονthērionG2342that comesG305upG305out of theabyssἀβύσσουabussouG12willmakeποιήσειpoiēseiG4160warπόλεμονpolemonG4171with them, and overcomeνικήσειnikēseiG3528them and killἀποκτενεῖapokteneiG615them.
8And their deadG4430bodiesπτῶμαptōmaG4430will lieon the streetπλατείαςplateiasG4116of thegreatμεγάλης,megalēsG3173cityπόλεωςpoleōsG4172whichἥτιςhētisG3748spirituallyπνευματικῶςpneumatikōsG4153is calledκαλεῖταιkaleitaiG2564SodomΣόδομαSodomaG4670andEgyptΑἴγυπτος,AiguptosG125,whereὅπουhopouG3699alsoG2532their LordκύριοςkuriosG2962was crucifiedἐσταυρώθη.estaurōthēG4717.
9Those fromthe peoplesλαῶνlaōnG2992,tribesφυλῶνphulōnG5443,languagesγλωσσῶνglōssōnG1100,and nationsἐθνῶνethnōnG1484willlookβλέπουσινblepousinG991at their deadG4430bodiesG4430for threeτρεῖςtreisG5140and a halfἥμισυ,hēmisuG2255daysἡμέραςhēmerasG2250, andwill not allowἀφίουσινaphiousinG863their deadG4430bodiesG4430to be laidτεθῆναιtethēnaiG5087in a tombμνῆμα.mnēmaG3418.
10AndthoseG3588who liveκατοικοῦντεςkatoikountesG2730on the earthγῆςgēsG1093willrejoiceχαίρουσινchairousinG5463overG1909them and celebrateεὐφραίνονταιeuphrainontaiG2165; and they willsendπέμψουσινpempsousinG3992giftsδῶραdōraG1435to oneἀλλήλοις,allēloisG240anotherG240,becauseὅτιhotiG3754theseοὗτοιhoutoiG3778twoδύοduoG1417prophetsπροφῆταιprophētaiG4396tormentedἐβασάνισανebasanisanG928thoseG3588who liveκατοικοῦνταςkatoikountasG2730on the earthγῆς.¶gēsG1093.
11And afterμετὰmetaG3326the threeτρεῖςtreisG5140and a halfἥμισυhēmisuG2255daysἡμέραςhēmerasG2250,the breathπνεῦμαpneumaG4151of lifeζωῆςzōēsG2222from GodθεοῦtheouG2316cameεἰσῆλθενeisēlthenG1525into them, and they stoodἔστησανestēsanG2476on their feetπόδαςpodasG4228;and greatμέγαςmegasG3173fearφόβοςphobosG5401fellἐπέπεσενepepesenG1968upon thoseG3588who were watchingθεωροῦνταςtheōrountasG2334them.
12And they heardἤκουσανēkousanG191a loudμεγάληςmegalēsG3173voiceφωνῆςphōnēsG5456from heavenοὐρανοῦouranouG3772sayingλεγούσηςlegousēsG3004to them, “ComeG305upG305hereὧδε.hōdeG5602.” And theywentG305upG305into heavenοὐρανὸνouranonG3772in the cloudνεφέλῃ,nephelēG3507,and their enemiesἐχθροὶechthroiG2190watchedἐθεώρησανetheōrēsanG2334them.
13Andat that timeὥρᾳhōraG5610there was a greatμέγας,megasG3173earthquakeσεισμὸςseismosG4578,and a tenthδέκατονdekatonG1182of the cityπόλεωςpoleōsG4172fellἔπεσεν,epesenG4098;sevenἑπτά.heptaG2033thousandχιλιάδεςchiliadesG5505peopleὀνόματα ἀνθρώπωνonomata anthrōpōnG3686G444were killedἀπεκτάνθησανapektanthēsanG615in the earthquakeσεισμῷseismōG4578,and the restλοιποὶloipoiG3062were terrifiedἔμφοβοιemphoboiG1719andgaveἔδωκανedōkanG1325gloryδόξανdoxanG1391to theGodθεῷtheōG2316of heavenοὐρανοῦ.ouranouG3772.

15ThenG2532theseventhἕβδομοςhebdomosG1442angelἄγγελοςangelosG32soundedἐσάλπισεν,esalpisenG4537; and there wereloudμεγάλαιmegalaiG3173voicesφωναὶphōnaiG5456in heavenοὐρανῷouranōG3772,sayingλέγοντες·legontesG3004, “The kingdomβασιλείαbasileiaG932of the worldκόσμουkosmouG2889has becomeG1096the kingdomof our LordκυρίουkuriouG2962and of HisChristχριστοῦchristouG5547; andHe will reignβασιλεύσειbasileuseiG936foreverαἰῶναςaiōnasG165and everαἰώνων.¶aiōnōnG165.”
16And the twenty-fourεἴκοσι τέσσαρεςeikosi tessaresG1501G5064eldersπρεσβύτεροιpresbuteroiG4245, whositκαθήμενοιkathēmenoiG2521on their thronesθρόνουςthronousG2362beforeἐνώπιονenōpionG1799GodθεοῦtheouG2316,fellἔπεσανepesanG4098on their facesπρόσωπαprosōpaG4383and worshipedπροσεκύνησανprosekunēsanG4352GodθεῷtheōG2316,
17sayingλέγοντες·legontesG3004, “We giveεὐχαριστοῦμένeucharistoumenG2168You thanksG2168,LordκύριεkurieG2962GodθεὸςtheosG2316,the Almightyπαντοκράτωρ,pantokratōrG3841,the One who is and who was, becauseὅτιhotiG3754You have takenεἴληφαςeilēphasG2983Your greatμεγάληνmegalēnG3173powerδύναμίνdunaminG1411and have begun toreignἐβασίλευσας.ebasileusasG936.
18Andthe nationsἔθνηethnēG1484wereG3710enragedG3710, andYour wrathὀργήorgēG3709cameἦλθενēlthenG2064, andthe timeκαιρὸςkairosG2540camefor the deadνεκρῶνnekrōnG3498to be judgedκριθῆναιkrithēnaiG2919, and the time torewardμισθὸνmisthonG3408Yourbond-servantsδούλοιςdouloisG1401the prophetsπροφήταιςprophētaisG4396and thesaintsἁγίοιςhagioisG40and thoseG3588who fearφοβουμένοιςphoboumenoisG5399Your nameὄνομάonomaG3686,the smallμικροὺςmikrousG3398and the greatμεγάλους,megalousG3173,and to destroyδιαφθεῖραιdiaphtheiraiG1311thoseG3588who destroyδιαφθείρονταςdiaphtheirontasG1311the earthγῆν.¶gēnG1093.”
19And thetempleναὸςnaosG3485of GodθεοῦtheouG2316which is in heavenοὐρανῷ,ouranōG3772was openedἠνοίγηēnoigēG455; andthe arkκιβωτὸςkibōtosG2787of His covenantδιαθήκηςdiathēkēsG1242appearedG3708in HistempleναῷnaōG3485,and there were flashesG796ofG796lightningἀστραπαὶastrapaiG796and soundsφωναὶphōnaiG5456and pealsG1027ofG1027thunderβρονταὶbrontaiG1027,and an earthquakeσεισμὸςseismosG4578, and agreatμεγάλη.¶megalēG3173hailstormχάλαζαchalazaG5464.
