1I sawG3708anotherἄλλονallonG243strongἰσχυρὸνischuronG2478angelἄγγελονangelonG32comingG2597downκαταβαίνονταkatabainontaG2597from heavenοὐρανοῦouranouG3772,clothedπεριβεβλημένονperibeblēmenonG4016with a cloudνεφέλην,nephelēnG3507; and therainbowἶριςirisG2463was on his headκεφαλῆςkephalēsG2776, andhis faceπρόσωπονprosōponG4383was likeὡςhōsG5613the sunἥλιος,hēliosG2246, and hisfeetπόδεςpodesG4228likeὡςhōsG5613pillarsστῦλοιstuloiG4769of fireπυρός,purosG4442;
4WhenὅτεhoteG3753the sevenἑπτὰheptaG2033pealsG1027ofG1027thunderβρονταί,brontaiG1027had spokenἐλάλησανelalēsanG2980,I wasG3195aboutG3195toG3195writeγράφειν.grapheinG1125; and IheardἤκουσαēkousaG191a voiceφωνὴνphōnēnG5456from heavenοὐρανοῦouranouG3772,sayingλέγουσανlegousanG3004, “SealσφράγισονsphragisonG4972upG4972the things whichἃhaG3739the sevenἑπτὰheptaG2033pealsG1027ofG1027thunderβρονταί,brontaiG1027have spokenἐλάλησανelalēsanG2980,and do not writeγράψῃς.grapsēsG1125them.”
6and sworeὤμοσενōmosenG3660byHim who livesζῶντιzōntiG2198foreverαἰῶναςaiōnasG165and everαἰώνων,aiōnōnG165,whoὃςhosG3739createdἔκτισενektisenG2936heavenοὐρανὸνouranonG3772and the things in it, and the earthγῆνgēnG1093and the things in it, and the seaθάλασσανthalassanG2281and the things in it, thatthere will noG3765longerG3765be a delayχρόνοςchronosG5550,
7but in the daysἡμέραιςhēmeraisG2250of the voiceφωνῆςphōnēsG5456of theseventhἑβδόμουhebdomouG1442angelἀγγέλου,angelouG32,whenὅτανhotanG3752he isG3195aboutG3195toG3195soundσαλπίζειν,salpizeinG4537,thenκαὶkaiG2532the mysteryμυστήριονmustērionG3466of Godθεοῦ,theouG2316is finishedἐτελέσθηetelesthēG5055,as He announcedεὐηγγέλισενeuēngelisenG2097to His servantsδούλουςdoulousG1401the prophetsπροφήτας.¶prophētasG4396.
8ThenG2532the voiceφωνὴphōnēG5456whichἣνhēnG3739I heardἤκουσαēkousaG191from heavenοὐρανοῦouranouG3772, I heardagainπάλινpalinG3825speakingλαλοῦσανlalousanG2980with me, and sayingλέγουσαν·legousanG3004, “GoὕπαγεhupageG5217,takeλάβεlabeG2983the scrollβιβλίονbiblionG975which is openἠνεῳγμένονēneōgmenonG455in the handχειρὶcheiriG5495of the angelἀγγέλουangelouG32whostandsἑστῶτοςhestōtosG2476on the seaθαλάσσηςthalassēsG2281and on the landγῆς.gēsG1093.”
9And I wentἀπῆλθαapēlthaG565to the angelἄγγελονangelonG32,tellingλέγωνlegōnG3004him to giveδοῦναίdounaiG1325me the littleβιβλαρίδιον.biblaridionG974scrollG974.And he saidλέγειlegeiG3004to me, “TakeλάβεlabeG2983it and eatκατάφαγεkataphageG2719it; it will makeG4087your stomachκοιλίαν,koilianG2836bitterπικρανεῖpikraneiG4087,but in your mouthστόματίstomatiG4750it will be sweetγλυκὺglukuG1099as honeyμέλι.¶meliG3192.”
10I tookἔλαβονelabonG2983the littleβιβλαρίδιονbiblaridionG974scrollG974from the angel’sἀγγέλουangelouG32handχειρὸςcheirosG5495and ateκατέφαγονkatephagonG2719it, and in my mouthστόματίstomatiG4750it was sweetγλυκύ·glukuG1099as honeyμέλιmeliG3192;and whenὅτεhoteG3753I had eatenG2068it, my stomachκοιλίαkoiliaG2836was madeG4087bitterἐπικράνθηepikranthēG4087.
