Luke 11:4-22
4And forgiveG863 us our sinsG266, For we ourselvesG846 alsoG2532 forgiveG863 everyoneG3956 who 1is indebtedG3784 to us. And do not leadG1533 us into temptationG3986.’”
5And He saidG3004 to them, “2SupposeG5101 oneG5101 of you hasG2192 a friendG5384, and goesG4198 to him at midnightG3317 and saysG3004 to him, ‘FriendG5384, lendG5531 me threeG5140 loavesG740, 6becauseG1894 a friendG5384 of mineG1473 has comeG3854 to me from a journeyG3598 and I haveG2192 nothingG3756 to serveG3908 him’; 7and fromG2081 insideG2081 he answersG611 and saysG3004, ‘Do not botherG2873G3930 me; the doorG2374 has alreadyG2235 been shutG2808 and my childrenG3813 3and I are in bedG2845; I cannotG1410G3756 getG450 upG450 and giveG1325 you anything.’ 8I tellG3004 you, evenG2532 ifG1487 he will not getG450 upG450 and giveG1325 him anything just becauseG1223 he is his friendG5384, yetG1065 4becauseG1223 of his 5shamelessnessG335 he will getG1453 upG1453 and giveG1325 him as muchG3745 as he needsG5535.
9“SoG2532 I sayG3004 to you, 67askG154, and it will be givenG1325 to you; 8seekG2212, and you will findG2147; 9knockG2925, and it will be openedG455 to you. 10For everyoneG3956 who asksG154 receivesG2983, and the one who seeksG2212 findsG2147, and to the one who knocksG2925, it will be openedG455. 11NowG1161 10whichG5101 oneG5101 of you fathersG3962 will his sonG5207 askG154 for a 11fishG2486, and insteadG473 ofG473 a fishG2486, he will giveG1929 him a snakeG3789? 12OrG2228 he will evenG2532 askG154 for an eggG5609, and his father will giveG1929 him a scorpionG4651? 13SoG3767 12ifG1487 you, despite beingG5225 13evilG4190, knowG3609 howG3609 to giveG1325 goodG18 giftsG1390 to your childrenG5043, howG4214 muchG4214 moreG3123 will 14your heavenlyG1537G3772 FatherG3962 giveG1325 the HolyG40 SpiritG4151 to thoseG3588 who askG154 Him?”
1415And He was castingG1544 outG1544 a muteG2974 demonG1140; when the demonG1140 had goneG1831 outG1831, the manG2974 who was previously unableG2974 toG2974 speakG2974 talkedG2980, and the crowdsG3793 wereG2296 amazedG2296. 15But someG5100 of them saidG3004, “He castsG1544 outG1544 the demonsG1140 16by 17BeelzebulG954, the rulerG758 of the demonsG1140.” 16OthersG2087, 18to testG3985 Him, 19were demandingG2212 of Him a 20signG4592 from heavenG3772. 1721But He knewG3609 their thoughtsG1270 and saidG3004 to them, “EveryG3956 kingdomG932 dividedG1266 againstG1909 itselfG1438 is laidG2049 wasteG2049; and a houseG3624 divided againstG1909 22itselfG3624 fallsG4098. 18And ifG1487 23SatanG4567 alsoG2532 has been dividedG1266 againstG1909 himselfG1438, howG4459 will his kingdomG932 24standG2476? For you claimG3004 that I castG1544 outG1544 the demonsG1140 by 25BeelzebulG954. 19YetG1161 ifG1487 by 26BeelzebulG954 I castG1544 outG1544 the demonsG1140, by whomG5101 do your sonsG5207 castG1544 them outG1544? ThereforeG1223G3778, they will be your judgesG2923. 20But ifG1487 I castG1544 outG1544 the demonsG1140 by 27the 28fingerG1147 of GodG2316, thenG686 29the kingdomG932 of GodG2316 has comeG5348 upon you. 21WhenG3752 30a strongG2478 man, fullyG2528 armedG2528, guardsG5442 his ownG1438 houseG833, his possessionsG5225 are 31secureG1722G1515. 22But whenG1875 someone strongerG2478 than he attacksG1904 him and overpowersG3528 him, that man takesG142 awayG142 his armorG3833 on whichG3739 he had reliedG3982 and distributesG1239 his plunderG4661.
