2“I feelG4697compassionσπλαγχνίζομαιsplagchnizomaiG4697for thepeopleὄχλονochlonG3793becauseὅτιhotiG3754they have remainedπροσμένουσίνprosmenousinG4357with Me nowἤδηēdēG2235threeτρεῖςtreisG5140daysἡμέραιhēmeraiG2250and haveἔχουσινechousinG2192nothingοὐκoukG3756 G5100to eatG2068.

3IfἐὰνeanG1437I sendἀπολύσωapolusōG630them awayG630hungryνήστειςnēsteisG3523to their homesοἶκονoikonG3624,they will faintἐκλυθήσονταιekluthēsontaiG1590on the wayὁδῷ·hodōG3598;and someτινεςtinesG5100of them haveG1510comeG1510from a greatG3113distanceG3113.”

4And His disciplesμαθηταὶmathētaiG3101answeredἀπεκρίθησανapekrithēsanG611Him, “WhereπόθενpothenG4159will anyoneτιςtisG5100be ableδυνήσεταίdunēsetaiG1410to find enoughbreadἄρτωνartōnG740hereὧδεhōdeG5602in thisdesolateG2047placeἐρημίας;erēmiasG2047to satisfyχορτάσαιchortasaiG5526theseG3778peopleG3778?”

5And He was askingἠρώταērōtaG2065them,“HowπόσουςposousG4214manyG4214loavesἄρτους;artousG740do you haveἔχετεecheteG2192?”And they saidG3004, “Sevenἑπτά.heptaG2033.”

6And He directedπαραγγέλλειparangelleiG3853thepeopleὄχλῳochlōG3793tositG377downG377on the groundγῆς,gēsG1093;and takingλαβὼνlabōnG2983the sevenἑπτὰheptaG2033loavesἄρτους,artousG740,He gaveG2168thanksεὐχαριστήσαςeucharistēsasG2168and brokeἔκλασενeklasenG2806them, and started givingἐδίδουedidouG1325them to His disciplesμαθηταῖςmathētaisG3101toserveπαρατιθῶσιν·paratithōsinG3908to them, and they servedπαρέθηκανparethēkanG3908them to thepeopleὄχλῳ.ochlōG3793.

7They alsoG2532hadεἶχονeichonG2192a fewὀλίγα·oligaG3641smallἰχθύδιαichthudiaG2485fishG2485; andafter He had blessedεὐλογήσαςeulogēsasG2127them, He orderedG3004theseταῦταtautaG3778to beservedπαρατιθέναι.paratithenaiG3908as wellG2532.

8And they ateG2068and were satisfiedἐχορτάσθησαν,echortasthēsanG5526;and they pickedἦρανēranG142up sevenἑπτὰheptaG2033largeG4711basketsσπυρίδας.spuridasG4711fullG4051of whatG4051was leftG4051overG4051of the brokenG2801piecesG2801.

9AboutὡςhōsG5613fourτετρακισχίλιοι·tetrakischilioiG5070thousandG5070were there;and He sentG630them awayἀπέλυσενapelusenG630.

10And immediatelyG2117He enteredἐμβὰςembasG1684the boatπλοῖονploionG4143with His disciplesμαθητῶνmathētōnG3101and cameἦλθενēlthenG2064to the districtμέρηmerēG3313ofDalmanuthaΔαλμανουθά.DalmanouthaG1148.

12SighingG389deeplyG389in His spiritπνεύματιpneumatiG4151,He saidλέγει·legeiG3004,“WhyτίtiG5101does thisαὕτηhautēG3778generationγενεὰgeneaG1074seekζητεῖzēteiG2212for asignσημεῖον;sēmeionG4592?TrulyἀμὴνamēnG281I sayλέγωlegōG3004to you,noεἰeiG1487signσημεῖον.sēmeionG4592will be givenδοθήσεταιdothēsetaiG1325to thisταύτῃtautēG3778generationγενεᾷgeneaG1074.”

13LeavingἀφεὶςapheisG863them, He againπάλινpalinG3825embarkedἐμβὰςembasG1684and wentG565awayἀπῆλθενapēlthenG565to the otherπέραν.peranG4008sideG4008.

14And they had forgottenἐπελάθοντοepelathontoG1950to takeλαβεῖνlabeinG2983breadἄρτουςartousG740,and did not haveεἶχονeichonG2192moreG1508thanG1508oneἕναhenaG1520loafἄρτονartonG740in the boatπλοίῳ.ploiōG4143with them.

15And He was givingG1291ordersG1291to them, sayingλέγων·legōnG3004, “Watchὁρᾶτε,horateG3708out! BewareβλέπετεblepeteG991of the leavenζύμηςzumēsG2219of the PhariseesΦαρισαίωνPharisaiōnG5330and the leavenζύμηςzumēsG2219ofHerodἩρῴδου.HērōdouG2264.”

18HavingἔχοντεςechontesG2192eyesὀφθαλμοὺςophthalmousG3788,do you not seeβλέπετε,blepeteG991?And havingἔχοντεςechontesG2192earsὦταōtaG3775,do you not hearἀκούετε;akoueteG191?And do you not rememberμνημονεύετε;mnēmoneueteG3421,

19whenὅτεhoteG3753I brokeἔκλασαeklasaG2806the fiveπεντακισχιλίουςpentakischiliousG4000loavesἄρτουςartousG740for the fiveG4000thousandG4000,howπόσουςposousG4214manyG4214basketsκοφίνουςkophinousG2894fullπλήρειςplēreisG4134of brokenG2801piecesG2801you pickedἤρατε;ērateG142up?”They saidλέγουσινlegousinG3004to Him, “Twelveδώδεκα.dōdekaG1427.”

24And helookedἀναβλέψαςanablepsasG308up and saidἔλεγεν·elegenG3004, “I seeβλέπωblepōG991menἀνθρώπουςanthrōpousG444, forI seeὁρῶhorōG3708themlikeὡςhōsG5613treesδένδραdendraG1186,walkingπεριπατοῦντας.peripatountasG4043aroundG4043.”

25ThenεἶταeitaG1534againπάλινpalinG3825He laidἐπέθηκενepethēkenG2007His handsχεῖραςcheirasG5495on his eyesὀφθαλμοὺςophthalmousG3788;and he lookedG1227intentlyG1227and was restoredἀπεκατέστηapekatestēG600, and beganto seeG1227everythingἅπαντα.hapantaG537clearlyτηλαυγῶςtēlaugōsG5081.

26And He sentἀπέστειλενapesteilenG649him to his homeοἶκονoikonG3624,sayingλέγων·legōnG3004,“Do not evenμηδὲmēdeG3366enterεἰσέλθῃςeiselthēsG1525the villageκώμηνkōmēnG2968.”

35Forwhoeverὃς ἐὰνhos eanG3739 G1437wishesθέλῃthelēG2309to saveσῶσαι,sōsaiG4982hislifeψυχὴνpsuchēnG5590will loseἀπολέσειapoleseiG622it, but whoeverὃς ἂνhos anG3739 G302losesG622hislifeψυχὴνpsuchēnG5590for My sakeἕνεκενhenekenG1752and the gospel’sεὐαγγελίου,euangeliouG2098will saveσώσειsōseiG4982it.
