2“I will completelyH5486removeH5486allכֹּ֗לKolH3605thingsFrom the faceפְּנֵ֥יpe.NeiH6440of theearthהָאֲדָמָ֖הha.'a.da.MahH127,”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

3“I will removeאָסֵ֨ף'a.SefH5486manאָדָ֜ם'a.DamH120and beastוּבְהֵמָ֗הu.ve.he.MahH929;I will removeאָסֵ֤ף'a.SefH5486thebirdsעוֹף־'of-H5775of the skyהַשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙ha.sha.Ma.yimH8064And the fishוּדְגֵ֣יu.de.GeiH1709of the seaהַיָּ֔םhai.YamH3220, And theruinsוְהַמַּכְשֵׁל֖וֹתve.ha.makh.she.LotH4384alongאֶת־'et-H854with the wickedהָרְשָׁעִ֑יםha.re.sha.'ImH7563;And I will cutוְהִכְרַתִּ֣יve.hikh.ra.TiH3772offH3772manהָאָדָ֗םha.'a.DamH120from the faceפְּנֵ֥יpe.NeiH6440of theearthהָאֲדָמָ֖הha.'a.da.MahH127,”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

4“So I willstretchוְנָטִ֤יתִיve.na.Ti.tiH5186out My handיָדִי֙ya.DiH3027againstעַל־'al-H5921Judahיְהוּדָ֔הye.hu.DahH3063And againstוְעַ֖לve.'AlH5921allכָּל־kol-H3605the inhabitantsיוֹשְׁבֵ֣יyo.she.VeiH3427of Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִָ֑םye.ru.sha.LimH3389. And I willcutוְהִכְרַתִּ֞יve.hikh.ra.TiH3772offH3772the remnantשְׁאָ֣רshe.'ArH7605of Baalהַבַּ֔עַלha.Ba.'alH1168from thisהַזֶּה֙ha.ZehH2088placeהַמָּק֤וֹםha.ma.KomH4725, Andthe namesשֵׁ֥םshemH8034of theidolatrousH3649priestsהַכְּמָרִ֖יםha.ke.ma.RimH3649alongעִם־'im-H5973with the priestsהַכֹּהֲנִֽים׃ha.ko.ha.NimH3548.

5And those who bowהַמִּשְׁתַּחֲוִ֥יםha.mish.ta.cha.VimH7812downהַמִּֽשְׁתַּחֲוִים֙ha.mish.ta.cha.VimH7812on thehousetopsהַגַּגּ֖וֹתha.ga.GotH1406to the hostלִצְבָ֣אlitz.Va'H6635of heavenהַשָּׁמָ֑יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064,And those who bowH7812downH7812andswearהַנִּשְׁבָּעִ֣יםha.nish.ba.'ImH7650to the Lordלַֽיהוָ֔הla.Yah.wehH3068and yetswearוְהַנִּשְׁבָּעִ֖יםve.ha.nish.ba.'ImH7650byMilcomH4445,

6And those who haveturnedH5472backהַנְּסוֹגִ֖יםha.ne.so.GimH5472from followingמֵאַחֲרֵ֣יme.'a.cha.ReiH310the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,And those whoוַאֲשֶׁ֛רva.'a.SherH834havenot soughtבִקְשׁ֥וּvik.ShuH1245the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068or inquiredדְרָשֻֽׁהוּ׃de.ra.Shu.huH1875of Him.”

7Be silentהַ֕סhasH2013beforeמִפְּנֵ֖יmi.pe.NeiH4480 H6440the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GodH3068! For thedayי֣וֹםYomH3117of the LordH3068is nearקָרוֹב֙ka.rOvH7138,For the LordH3068has preparedהֵכִ֧יןhe.KhinH3559asacrificeזֶ֖בַחZe.vachH2077, He hasconsecratedהִקְדִּ֥ישׁhik.DishH6942His guestsקְרֻאָֽיו׃ke.ru.'AvH7121.

8“Then it will comeוְהָיָ֗הve.ha.YahH1961about on the dayבְּיוֹם֙be.yOmH3117of the Lord’sיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068sacrificeזֶ֣בַחZe.vachH2077That I willpunishוּפָקַדְתִּ֥יu.fa.kad.TiH6485the princesהַשָּׂרִ֖יםha.sa.RimH8269,the king’sהַמֶּ֑לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428sonsבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121And allכָּל־kol-H3605who clotheהַלֹּבְשִׁ֖יםha.loe.ShimH3847themselves withforeignנָכְרִֽי׃na.khe.RiH5237garmentsמַלְבּ֥וּשׁmal.BushH4403.

9And I will punishוּפָקַדְתִּ֗יu.fa.kad.TiH6485on that dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117allכָּל־kol-H3605who leapהַדּוֹלֵ֛גha.do.LegH1801on the templethresholdהַמִּפְתָּ֖ןha.mif.TanH4670,Who fillהַֽמְמַלְאִ֛יםha.mal.'ImH4390the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of theirlordאֲדֹנֵיהֶ֖ם'a.do.nei.HemH113withviolenceחָמָ֥סcha.MasH2555and deceitוּמִרְמָֽה׃ סu.mir.MahH4820.

10On that dayבַיּ֨וֹםvai.YomH3117,”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068, “There will be the soundק֤וֹלKolH6963of a cryצְעָקָה֙tze.'a.KahH6818from theFishהַדָּגִ֔יםha.da.GimH1709Gateמִשַּׁ֣עַרmi.Sha.'arH8179,A wailוִֽילָלָ֖הvi.la.LahH3215from theSecondהַמִּשְׁנֶ֑הha.mish.NehH4932Quarter,And a loudגָּד֖וֹלga.DolH1419crashוְשֶׁ֥בֶרve.She.verH7667from thehillsמֵהַגְּבָעֽוֹת׃me.ha.ge.va.'otH1389.

11Wailהֵילִ֖ילוּhei.Li.luH3213,O inhabitantsיֹשְׁבֵ֣יyo.she.VeiH3427of theMortarהַמַּכְתֵּ֑שׁha.makh.TeshH4389,For allכָּל־kol-H3605thepeopleעַ֣ם'amH5971ofCanaanכְּנַ֔עַןke.Na.'anH3667will be silencedנִדְמָה֙nid.MahH1820;Allכָּל־kol-H3605who weighנְטִ֥ילֵיne.Ti.leiH5187outsilverכָֽסֶף׃Kha.sefH3701will be cutנִכְרְת֖וּnikh.re.TuH3772offH3772.

12It will comeוְהָיָה֙ve.ha.YahH1961about at that timeבָּעֵ֣תba.'EtH6256That I willsearchאֲחַפֵּ֥שׂ'a.cha.PesH2664Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַ֖םye.ru.sha.LimH3389with lampsבַּנֵּר֑וֹתba.ne.RotH5216,And I will punishוּפָקַדְתִּ֣יu.fa.kad.TiH6485the menH376Who arestagnantהַקֹּֽפְאִים֙ha.ko.fe.'ImH7087in spiritשִׁמְרֵיהֶ֔םshim.rei.HemH8105,Who sayהָאֹֽמְרִים֙ha.'o.me.RimH559in their heartsבִּלְבָבָ֔םbil.va.VamH3824, ‘The Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068willnot doH3190goodיֵיטִ֥יבyei.TivH3190or evilיָרֵֽעַ׃ya.Re.a'H7489!’

13Moreover, their wealthחֵילָם֙chei.LamH2428will becomeוְהָיָ֤הve.ha.YahH1961plunderלִמְשִׁסָּ֔הlim.shi.SahH4933And their housesוּבָתֵּיהֶ֖םu.va.tei.HemH1004desolateלִשְׁמָמָ֑הlish.ma.MahH8077; Yes,they will buildוּבָנ֤וּu.va.NuH1129housesבָתִּים֙va.TimH1004but not inhabitיֵשֵׁ֔בוּye.She.vuH3427them,And plantוְנָטְע֣וּve.na.te.'UH5193vineyardsכְרָמִ֔יםkhe.ra.MimH3754but not drinkיִשְׁתּ֖וּyish.TuH8354their wineיֵינָֽם׃yei.NamH3196.”

14Nearקָר֤וֹבka.RovH7138is thegreatהַגָּד֔וֹלha.ga.DolH1419dayיוֹם־yom-H3117of the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068,Nearקָר֖וֹבka.RovH7138and comingH4118veryמְאֹ֑דme.'OdH3966quicklyH4118;Listenק֚וֹלKolH6963,the dayי֣וֹםYomH3117of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068!In it the warriorגִּבּֽוֹר׃gi.BorH1368criesצֹרֵ֖חַtzo.Re.achH6873out bitterlyמַ֥רmarH4751.
