1Now it cameוַיְהִ֣י׀vay.HiH1961about in the thirtiethבִּשְׁלֹשִׁ֣יםbish.lo.ShimH7970yearשָׁנָ֗הsha.NahH8141,on the fifthבַּחֲמִשָּׁ֣הba.cha.mi.ShahH2568dayof the fourthבָּֽרְבִיעִי֙ba.re.vi.'IH7243monthלַחֹ֔דֶשׁla.Cho.deshH2320, while I was by theriverנְהַר־ne.har-H5104Chebarכְּבָ֑רke.VarH3529amongבְתֽוֹךְ־ve.tokh-H8432the exilesהַגּוֹלָ֖הha.go.LahH1473, theheavensהַשָּׁמַ֔יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064were openedנִפְתְּחוּ֙nif.te.ChuH6605and I sawוָאֶרְאֶ֖הva.'er.'EhH7200visionsמַרְא֥וֹתmar.'otH4759of Godאֱלֹהִֽים׃'E.lo.HimH430.

4As I lookedוָאֵ֡רֶאva.'E.re'H7200,beholdוְהִנֵּה֩ve.hi.NehH2009, astormסְעָרָ֜הse.'a.RahH5591windר֨וּחַRu.achH7307was comingבָּאָ֣הba.'AhH935from the northהַצָּפ֗וֹןha.tza.FonH6828,a greatגָּדוֹל֙ga.dOlH1419cloudעָנָ֤ן'a.NanH6051with fireוְאֵ֣שׁve.'EshH784flashingH3947forthH3947continually and a brightH5051lightH5051aroundסָבִ֑יבsa.VivH5439it, and in its midstוּמִ֨תּוֹכָ֔הּu.Mi.to.KhahH8432something likeglowingH2830metalH2830in the midstמִתּ֥וֹךְmi.TokhH8432of the fireהָאֵֽשׁ׃ha.'EshH784.

5Withinוּמִ֨תּוֹכָ֔הּu.Mi.to.KhahH8432it there were figuresH1823resemblingH1823fourאַרְבַּ֣ע'ar.Ba'H702livingH2421beingsH2421.And thisוְזֶה֙ve.ZehH2088was their appearanceמַרְאֵֽיהֶ֔ןmar.'ei.HenH4758:they had humanאָדָ֖ם'a.DamH120formH1823.

6EachH259of them hadfourוְאַרְבָּעָ֥הve.'ar.ba.'AhH702facesפָנִ֖יםfa.NimH6440andfourוְאַרְבַּ֥עve.'ar.Ba'H702wingsכְּנָפַ֖יִםke.na.Fa.yimH3671.

7Their legsH7272were straightיְשָׁרָ֑הye.sha.RahH3477andtheir feetH7272were like a calf’sעֵ֔גֶל'E.gelH5695hoofH3709 H7272,and they gleamedוְנֹ֣צְצִ֔יםve.No.tze.TzimH5340likeburnishedקָלָֽל׃ka.LalH7044bronzeנְחֹ֥שֶׁתne.Cho.shetH5178.

8Underמִתַּ֙חַת֙mi.Ta.chatH8478their wingsכַּנְפֵיהֶ֔םkan.fei.HemH3671on theirfourאַרְבַּ֣עַת'ar.Ba.'atH702sidesרִבְעֵיהֶ֑םriv.'ei.HemH7253werehumanאָדָ֗ם'a.DamH120handsוִידֵ֣יve.ya.dovH3027.As for the facesוּפְנֵיהֶ֥םu.fe.nei.HemH6440and wingsוְכַנְפֵיהֶ֖םve.khan.fei.HemH3671of the fourלְאַרְבַּעְתָּֽם׃le.'ar.ba'.TamH702of them,

9their wingsכַּנְפֵיהֶ֑םkan.fei.HemH3671touchedחֹֽבְרֹ֛תchoe.RotH2266oneאִשָּׁ֥ה'i.ShahH802anotherאֲחוֹתָ֖הּ'a.cho.TahH269; their faces didnot turnיִסַּ֣בּוּyi.Sa.buH5437when they movedבְלֶכְתָּ֔ןve.lekh.TanH1980,eachאִ֛ישׁ'ishH376wentיֵלֵֽכוּ׃ye.Le.khuH1980straightעֵ֥בֶר'E.verH413 H5676 H6440forwardH6440.

10As for theformוּדְמ֣וּתu.de.MutH1823of their facesפְּנֵיהֶם֮pe.nei.HemH6440, each had thefaceפְּנֵ֣יpe.NeiH6440of a manאָדָם֒'a.DamH120;all fourH702had the faceוּפְנֵ֨יu.fe.NeiH6440of a lionH743on the rightהַיָּמִין֙hai.ya.MinH3225and the faceוּפְנֵי־u.fe.nei-H6440of a bullשׁ֥וֹרShorH7794on the leftמֵֽהַשְּׂמֹ֖אולme.ha.se.MolH8040, andall fourH702had the faceוּפְנֵי־u.fe.nei-H6440of an eagleנֶ֖שֶׁרNe.sherH5404.

11Such were their facesוּפְנֵיהֶ֕םu.fe.nei.HemH6440.Their wingsוְכַנְפֵיהֶ֥םve.khan.fei.HemH3671were spreadפְּרֻד֖וֹתpe.ru.DotH6504out aboveמִלְמָ֑עְלָהmil.Ma.'e.lahH4480 H4605;eachלְאִ֗ישׁle.'IshH376had twoשְׁ֚תַּיִםShe.ta.yimH8147touchingחֹבְר֣וֹתchoe.RotH2266anotherאִ֔ישׁ'IshH376being, andtwoוּשְׁתַּ֣יִםu.she.Ta.yimH8147coveringמְכַסּ֔וֹתme.kha.SotH3680their bodiesגְּוִיֹתֵיהֶֽנָה׃ge.vi.yo.tei.He.nahH1472.

12Andeachוְאִ֛ישׁve.'IshH376wentיֵלֵ֑כוּye.Le.khuH1980straightאֶל־ עֵ֥בֶר'el- 'E.verH413 H5676 H6440forwardH6440;whereverאֶ֣ל אֲשֶׁר֩ שָׁ֨מָּה'el 'a.Sher Sha.mahH413 H834 H8033the spiritהָר֤וּחַha.Ru.achH7307was about to goלָלֶ֙כֶת֙la.Le.khetH1980,they would goיֵלֵ֔כוּye.Le.khuH1980,withoutלֹ֥אlo'H3808turningיִסַּ֖בּוּyi.Sa.buH5437as they wentבְּלֶכְתָּֽן׃be.lekh.TanH1980.

13In the midst of the livingH2421beingsH2421there was something that lookedמַרְאֵיהֶ֣םmar.'ei.HemH4758like burningבֹּֽעֲרוֹת֙bo.'a.rOtH1197coalsכְּגַחֲלֵי־ke.ga.cha.lei-H1513offireאֵ֗שׁ'EshH784,likeכְּמַרְאֵ֣הke.mar.'EhH4758torchesהַלַּפִּדִ֔יםha.la.pi.DimH3940dartingH1980backH1980and forth amongבֵּ֣יןbeinH996the livingH2421beingsH2421.The fireלָאֵ֔שׁla.'EshH784was brightוְנֹ֣גַהּve.No.gahH5051,and lightningבָרָֽק׃va.RakH1300wasflashingיוֹצֵ֥אyo.Tze'H3318from the fireהָאֵ֖שׁha.'EshH784.

14And the livingH2421beingsH2421ranרָצ֣וֹאra.Tzo'H7519to and froוָשׁ֑וֹבva.ShovH7725likeכְּמַרְאֵ֖הke.mar.'EhH4758boltsH965oflightningH965.

15Now as I lookedוָאֵ֖רֶאva.'E.re'H7200at the livingH2421beingsH2421,beholdוְהִנֵּה֩ve.hi.NehH2009,there was oneאֶחָ֥ד'e.ChadH259wheelאוֹפַ֨ן'o.FanH212on the earthבָּאָ֛רֶץba.'A.retzH776besideאֵ֥צֶל'E.tzelH681the livingH2421beingsH2421, for each ofthe fourלְאַרְבַּ֥עַתle.'ar.Ba.'atH702of them.

16Theappearanceמַרְאֵ֨הmar.'EhH4758of the wheelsהָאוֹפַנִּ֤יםha.'o.fa.NimH212and their workmanshipוּמַעֲשֵׂיהֶם֙u.ma.'a.sei.HemH4639was likesparklingכְּעֵ֣יןke.'EinH5869berylתַּרְשִׁ֔ישׁtar.ShishH8658,and all fourלְאַרְבַּעְתָּ֑ןle.'ar.ba'.TanH702of them had the sameאֶחָ֖ד'e.ChadH259formוּדְמ֥וּתu.de.MutH1823,their appearanceוּמַרְאֵיהֶם֙u.mar.'ei.HemH4758and workmanshipוּמַ֣עֲשֵׂיהֶ֔םu.Ma.'a.sei.HemH4639beingas ifH3512one wheelהָאוֹפַ֖ןha.'o.FanH212were withinבְּת֥וֹךְbe.TokhH8432anotherהָאוֹפָֽן׃ha.'o.FanH212.

17Whenever theymovedבְּלֶכְתָּ֣םbe.lekh.TamH1980, theymovedיֵלֵ֑כוּye.Le.khuH1980in anyH702of their fourH702directionsרִבְעֵיהֶ֖ןriv.'ei.HenH7253withoutלֹ֥אlo'H3808turningיִסַּ֖בּוּyi.Sa.buH5437as theymovedבְּלֶכְתָּֽן׃be.lekh.TanH1980.

18As for their rimsוְגַ֨בֵּיהֶ֔ןve.Ga.bei.HenH1354they were loftyוְגֹ֥בַהּve.GoahH1363and awesomeוְיִרְאָ֣הve.yir.'AhH3374,and the rimsוְגַבֹּתָ֗םve.ga.bo.TamH1354of all fourלְאַרְבַּעְתָּֽן׃le.'ar.ba'.TanH702of them werefullמְלֵאֹ֥תme.le.'OtH4392of eyesעֵינַ֛יִם'ei.Na.yimH5869roundH5439aboutH5439.

19Whenever the livingH2421beingsH2421movedוּבְלֶ֙כֶת֙u.ve.Le.khetH1980,the wheelsהָאוֹפַנִּ֖יםha.'o.fa.NimH212movedיֵלְכ֥וּye.le.KhuH1980with them. And whenever the livingH2421beingsH2421roseוּבְהִנָּשֵׂ֤אu.ve.hi.na.Se'H5375from the earthהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776,the wheelsהָאוֹפַנִּֽים׃ha.'o.fa.NimH212roseיִנָּשְׂא֖וּyi.na.se.'UH5375also.

20Whereverעַ֣ל אֲשֶׁר֩ שָּׁ֨ם'al 'a.Sher shamH5921 H834 H8033the spiritH7307was about to goH1980,they would goH1980in that directionשָׁ֥מָּהSha.mahH8033.And the wheelsוְהָאוֹפַנִּ֗יםve.ha.'o.fa.NimH212roseיִנָּשְׂאוּ֙yi.na.se.'UH5375closeלְעֻמָּתָ֔םle.'u.ma.TamH5980besideH5980them; for the spiritH7307of the livingH2421beingsH2421wasin the wheelsבָּאוֹפַנִּֽים׃ba.'o.fa.NimH212.

21Whenever those wentבְּלֶכְתָּ֣םbe.lekh.TamH1980,these wentיֵלֵ֔כוּye.Le.khuH1980;and whenever those stoodH5975stillוּבְעָמְדָ֖םu.ve.'a.me.DamH5975,these stoodH5975stillיַֽעֲמֹ֑דוּya.'a.Mo.duH5975.And whenever those roseוּֽבְהִנָּשְׂאָ֞םu.ve.hi.na.se.'AmH5375from the earthהָאָ֗רֶץha.'A.retzH776,the wheelsהָאֽוֹפַנִּים֙ha.'o.fa.NimH212roseיִנָּשְׂא֤וּyi.na.se.'UH5375closeלְעֻמָּתָ֔םle.'u.ma.TamH5980besideH5980them; for the spiritר֥וּחַRu.achH7307of the livingH2421beingsH2421wasin the wheelsבָּאוֹפַנִּֽים׃ba.'o.fa.NimH212.

23Underוְתַ֙חַת֙ve.Ta.chatH8478the expanseהָרָקִ֔יעַha.ra.Ki.a'H7549their wingsכַּנְפֵיהֶ֣םkan.fei.HemH3671were stretched outstraightיְשָׁר֔וֹתye.sha.RotH3477,oneאִשָּׁ֖ה'i.ShahH802towardאֶל־'el-H413the otherאֲחוֹתָ֑הּ'a.cho.TahH269;eachH376oneH376also hadtwoH8147wings coveringH3680its bodyגְּוִיֹּתֵיהֶֽם׃ge.vi.yo.tei.HemH1472on the oneH376sideH1992and on the otherH2008.

24I also heardוָאֶשְׁמַ֣עva.'esh.Ma'H8085the soundק֣וֹלKolH6963of their wingsכַּנְפֵיהֶ֡םkan.fei.HemH3671like thesoundכְּקוֹל֩ke.kOlH6963of abundantרַבִּ֤יםra.BimH7227watersמַ֨יִםMa.yimH4325as they wentבְּלֶכְתָּ֔םbe.lekh.TamH1980, like thevoiceכְּקוֹל־ke.kol-H6963ofthe Almightyשַׁדַּי֙sha.DaiH7706,a soundק֥וֹלKolH6963of tumultהֲמֻלָּ֖הha.mu.LahH1999like thesoundכְּק֣וֹלke.KolH6963of an armyמַחֲנֶ֑הma.cha.NehH4264campH4264;whenever they stoodH5975stillבְּעָמְדָ֖םbe.'a.me.DamH5975,they droppedתְּרַפֶּ֥ינָהte.ra.Pei.nahH7503their wingsכַנְפֵיהֶֽן׃khan.fei.HenH3671.

25And there cameוַיְהִי־vay.hi-H1961a voiceק֕וֹלKolH6963from aboveמֵעַ֕לme.'AlH5921theexpanseלָרָקִ֖יעַla.ra.Ki.a'H7549that was overעַל־'al-H5921their headsרֹאשָׁ֑םro.ShamH7218;whenever they stoodH5975stillבְּעָמְדָ֖םbe.'a.me.DamH5975,they droppedתְּרַפֶּ֥ינָהte.ra.Pei.nahH7503their wingsכַנְפֵיהֶֽן׃khan.fei.HenH3671.

26Nowaboveוּמִמַּ֗עַלu.mi.Ma.'alH4480 H4605the expanseלָרָקִ֙יעַ֙la.ra.Ki.a'H7549that was overH5921their headsרֹאשָׁ֔םro.ShamH7218there was somethingH1823resemblingH1823a throneכִּסֵּ֑אki.Se'H3678, likelapisH68 H5601lazuliH68 H5601in appearanceכְּמַרְאֵ֥הke.mar.'EhH4758;and on that whichH1823resembledH1823a throneהַכִּסֵּ֔אha.ki.Se'H3678,highמִלְמָֽעְלָה׃mil.Ma.'e.lahH4480 H4605up, wasa figureH1823with the appearanceכְּמַרְאֵ֥הke.mar.'EhH4758of amanאָדָ֛ם'a.DamH120.

27Then Inoticedוָאֵ֣רֶא׀va.'E.re'H7200from the appearanceH4758of His loinsמָתְנָ֖יוma.te.NavH4975and upwardוּלְמָ֑עְלָהu.le.Ma.'e.lahH4605somethingH4758likeglowingH2830metalH2830that lookedH4758like fireאֵ֤שׁ'eshH784allH5439aroundH5439withinבֵּֽית־beit-H1004it, and from the appearanceH4758of His loinsמָתְנָיו֙ma.te.NavH4975and downwardוּלְמַ֔טָּהu.le.Ma.tahH4295I sawרָאִ֙יתִי֙ra.'I.tiH7200somethingH4758like fireאֵ֔שׁ'EshH784; and there wasa radianceוְנֹ֥גַֽהּve.No.gahH5051aroundH5439Him.
