3So they searchedוַיְבַקְשׁוּ֙vay.vak.ShuH1245for a beautifulיָפָ֔הya.FahH3303girlנַעֲרָ֣הna.'a.RahH5291throughout allבְּכֹ֖לbe.KholH3605the territoryגְּב֣וּלge.VulH1366of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478,and foundוַֽיִּמְצְא֗וּvai.yim.tze.'UH4672Abishagאֲבִישַׁג֙'a.vi.ShagH49theShunammiteהַשּׁ֣וּנַמִּ֔יתha.Shu.na.MitH7767,and broughtוַיָּבִ֥אוּvai.ya.Vi.'uH935her to the kingלַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃la.Me.lekhH4428.

Nowthe kingוְהַמֶּ֖לֶךְve.ha.Me.lekhH4428was veryמְאֹ֑דme.'OdH3966oldזָקֵ֣ןza.KenH2204,and Abishagוַֽאֲבִישַׁג֙va.'a.vi.ShagH49the Shunammiteהַשּׁ֣וּנַמִּ֔יתha.Shu.na.MitH7767was ministeringמְשָׁרַ֖תme.sha.RatH8334to the kingהַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ha.Me.lekhH4428.

28Then Kingהַמֶּ֤לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428Davidדָּוִד֙da.VidH1732saidוַיֹּ֔אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Callקִרְאוּ־kir.'u-H7121BathshebaH1339to me.” And she cameוַתָּבֹא֙va.ta.Vo'H935into the king’sהַמֶּ֔לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428presenceלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440and stoodוַֽתַּעֲמֹ֖דva.ta.'a.ModH5975beforeלִפְנֵ֥יlif.NeiH6440the kingהַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ha.Me.lekhH4428.

35Then you shall comeוַעֲלִיתֶ֣םva.'a.li.TemH5927up afterאַחֲרָ֗יו'a.cha.RavH310him, and he shall comeוּבָא֙u.Va'H935and sitוְיָשַׁ֣בve.ya.ShavH3427on my throneכִּסְאִ֔יkis.'IH3678and be kingיִמְלֹ֖ךְyim.LokhH4427in my placeתַּחְתָּ֑יtach.TaiH8478;for I have appointedצִוִּ֙יתִי֙tzi.Vi.tiH6680him to be rulerנָגִ֔ידna.GidH5057overH5921Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478and Judahיְהוּדָֽה׃ye.hu.DahH3063.”
