2“Thusכֹּ֥הkohH3541saysH559the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068ofhostsצְבָא֖וֹתtze.va.'otH6635, ‘Thisהַזֶּה֙ha.ZehH2088peopleהָעָ֤םha.'AmH5971saysH559, “The timeעֶת־'et-H6256has not comeבֹּ֛אbo'H935, eventhe timeעֶת־'et-H6256for the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068to be rebuiltלְהִבָּנֽוֹת׃ פle.hi.ba.NotH1129.”’”
6You havesownזְרַעְתֶּ֨םze.ra'.TemH2232muchהַרְבֵּ֜הhar.BehH7235, butharvestוְהָבֵ֣אve.ha.Ve'H935littleמְעָ֗טme.'AtH4592; youeatאָכ֤וֹל'a.KholH398, but there is not enoughto be satisfiedלְשָׂבְעָה֙le.sa.ve.'AhH7654; youdrinkשָׁת֣וֹsha.ToH8354, but there is not enoughto becomeלְשָׁכְרָ֔הle.sha.khe.RahH7937drunkH7937; youputH3847on clothingH3847,but noH369oneH369is warmלְחֹ֣םle.ChomH2552enough;and he who earnsוְהַ֨מִּשְׂתַּכֵּ֔רve.Ham.mis.ta.KerH7936,earnsמִשְׂתַּכֵּ֖רmis.ta.KerH7936wagesH7939to putinto a purseצְר֥וֹרtze.RorH6872with holesנָקֽוּב׃ פna.KuvH5344.”
8Goעֲל֥וּ'a.LuH5927up to themountainsהָהָ֛רha.HarH2022,bringוַהֲבֵאתֶ֥םva.ha.ve.TemH935woodעֵ֖ץ'etzH6086andrebuildוּבְנ֣וּu.ve.NuH1129thetempleהַבָּ֑יִתha.Ba.yitH1004, that I may bepleasedוְאֶרְצֶה־ve.'er.tzeh-H7521with it and beglorifiedוְאֶכָּבְדָ֖הve.'e.ka.vedH3513,”saysאָמַ֥ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.
9“Youlookפָּנֹ֤הpa.NohH6437for muchהַרְבֵּה֙har.BehH7235,but beholdוְהִנֵּ֣הve.hi.NehH2009, it comesto littleלִמְעָ֔טlim.'AtH4592;when you bringוַהֲבֵאתֶ֥םva.ha.ve.TemH935ithomeהַבַּ֖יִתha.Ba.yitH1004, Iblowוְנָפַ֣חְתִּיve.na.Fach.tiH5301it away.Whyיַ֣עַן מֶ֗הYa.'an MehH3282H4100?”declaresנְאֻם֙ne.'UmH5002the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068of hostsצְבָא֔וֹתtze.va.'otH6635, “Becauseיַ֗עַןYa.'anH3282of My houseבֵּיתִי֙bei.TiH1004whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834liesdesolateחָרֵ֔בcha.RevH2720,while eachאִ֥ישׁ'ishH376of you runsרָצִ֖יםra.TzimH7323to his own houseלְבֵיתֽוֹ׃le.vei.ToH1004.
11I calledוָאֶקְרָ֨אva.'ek.Ra'H7121for adroughtחֹ֜רֶבCho.revH2721on the landהָאָ֣רֶץha.'A.retzH776,on the mountainsהֶהָרִ֗יםhe.ha.RimH2022,on the grainהַדָּגָן֙ha.da.GanH1715,on the newהַתִּיר֣וֹשׁha.ti.Ro.oshH8492wineH8492,on the oilהַיִּצְהָ֔רhai.yitz.HarH3323,on whatאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834the groundהָאֲדָמָ֑הha.'a.da.MahH127producesתּוֹצִ֖יאto.Tzi'H3318, onmenהָֽאָדָם֙ha.'a.DamH120,on cattleהַבְּהֵמָ֔הha.be.he.MahH929, and onallכָּל־kol-H3605the laborיְגִ֥יעַye.Gi.a'H3018ofyour handsכַּפָּֽיִם׃ סka.Pa.yimH3709.”
12ThenZerubbabelזְרֻבָּבֶ֣ל׀ze.ru.ba.VelH2216the sonבֶּֽן־ben-H1121of ShealtielH8032, andJoshuaוִיהוֹשֻׁ֣עַvi.ho.Shu.a'H3091the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Jehozadakיְהוֹצָדָק֩ye.ho.tza.DakH3087,the highהַגָּד֜וֹלha.ga.DolH1419priestהַכֹּהֵ֨ןha.ko.HenH3548,with allוְכֹ֣ל׀ve.KholH3605the remnantשְׁאֵרִ֣יתshe.'e.RitH7611of the peopleהָעָ֗םha.'AmH5971,obeyedוַיִּשְׁמַ֣עvai.yish.Ma'H8085the voiceבְּקוֹל֙be.kOlH6963of the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068their Godאֱלֹֽהֵיהֶ֔ם'e.lo.hei.HemH430and the wordsדִּבְרֵי֙div.ReiH1697of Haggaiחַגַּ֣יcha.GaiH2292the prophetהַנָּבִ֔יאha.na.Vi'H5030,as the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068their Godאֱלֹהֵיהֶ֑ם'e.lo.hei.HemH430had sentשְׁלָח֖וֹshe.la.ChoH7971him. And the peopleהָעָ֖םha.'AmH5971showedH3372reverenceH3372for the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.
13Then Haggaiחַגַּ֞יcha.GaiH2292, themessengerמַלְאַ֧ךְmal.'AkhH4397of the Lordיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068,spokeוַ֠יֹּאמֶרVai.yo.merH559by the commissionבְּמַלְאֲכ֥וּתbe.mal.'a.KhutH4400of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068to the peopleלָעָ֣םla.'AmH5971sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559, “‘I am with you,’ declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.”
