2Itwould be betterλυσιτελεῖlusiteleiG3081for him ifεἰeiG1487a millstoneλίθος μυλικὸςlithos mulikosG3037 G3457were hungπερίκειταιperikeitaiG4029aroundπερὶperiG4012his neckτράχηλονtrachēlonG5137and he were thrownἔρριπταιerriptaiG4496into the seaθάλασσανthalassanG2281,thanἢēG2228that he would causeσκανδαλίσῃskandalisēG4624oneἕνα.henaG1520of theseτούτωνtoutōnG3778littleμικρῶνmikrōnG3398onesG3398to stumbleG4624.

3Be on your guardπροσέχετεprosecheteG4337!IfἐὰνeanG1437your brotherἀδελφόςadelphosG80sinsἁμάρτῃhamartēG264,rebukeἐπιτίμησονepitimēsonG2008him; and ifἐὰνeanG1437he repentsμετανοήσῃ,metanoēsēG3340,forgiveἄφεςaphesG863him.

4And ifἐὰνeanG1437he sinsἁμαρτήσῃhamartēsēG264againstεἰςeisG1519yousevenG2034timesG2034a dayἡμέραςhēmerasG2250,and returnsἐπιστρέψῃepistrepsēG1994to you sevenG2034timesG2034,sayingλέγων·legōnG3004, ‘I repentμετανοῶ,metanoōG3340,’forgiveἀφήσειςaphēseisG863him.”

5The apostlesἀπόστολοιapostoloiG652saidG3004tothe Lordκυρίῳ·kuriōG2962, “IncreaseπρόσθεςprosthesG4369our faithπίστιν.pistinG4102!”

6Andthe Lordκύριος·kuriosG2962saidG3004,“IfεἰeiG1487youhadἔχετεecheteG2192faithπίστινpistinG4102likeὡςhōsG5613a mustardσινάπεως,sinapeōsG4615seedκόκκονkokkonG2848,you would sayG3004to thisταύτῃ·tautēG3778mulberryG4807treeG4807, ‘Be uprootedἐκριζώθητιekrizōthētiG1610and be plantedφυτεύθητιphuteuthētiG5452in the seaθαλάσσῃ,thalassēG2281’; and it wouldobeyὑπήκουσενhupēkousenG5219you.

7“WhichΤίςTisG5101of you, havingἔχωνechōnG2192a slaveδοῦλονdoulonG1401plowingἀροτριῶνταarotriōntaG722orἢēG2228tendingG4165sheepG4165,will sayG3004to him when he has comeεἰσελθόντιeiselthontiG1525in from the fieldἀγροῦagrouG68, ‘ComeπαρελθὼνparelthōnG3928immediatelyεὐθέωςeutheōsG2112andsitG377downG377to eat’?

8But will he not sayG3004to him, ‘PrepareἑτοίμασονhetoimasonG2090somethingτίtiG5101for me to eatG1172, and properlyclotheπεριζωσάμενοςperizōsamenosG4024yourself and serveδιακόνειdiakoneiG1247me whileἕωςhe'ōsG2193I eatG1172and drinkπίω,piōG4095; andafterwardμετὰ ταῦταmeta tautaG3326 G3778youmay eatG2068and drinkπίεσαιpiesaiG4095’?

9He does not thankχάρινcharinG5485the slaveδούλῳdoulōG1401becauseὅτιhotiG3754he didἐποίησενepoiēsenG4160the things which were commandedδιαταχθένταdiatachthentaG1299, does he?

10SoοὕτωςhoutōsG3779you tooκαὶkaiG2532,whenὅτανhotanG3752you doποιήσητεpoiēsēteG4160allG3956the thingsG3956which are commandedδιαταχθένταdiatachthentaG1299you, sayλέγετεlegeteG3004, ‘We are unworthyἀχρεῖοίachreioiG888slavesδοῦλοιdouloiG1401;we have doneποιῆσαιpoiēsaiG4160onlythat whichὃhoG3739we oughtὠφείλομενōpheilomenG3784to have doneπεποιήκαμεν.¶pepoiēkamenG4160.’”

11WhileἐνenG1722He wason the wayπορεύεσθαιporeuesthaiG4198to JerusalemἸερουσαλὴμIerousalēmG2419,He was passingδιήρχετοdiērchetoG1330betweenδιὰ μέσονdia mesonG1223 G3319SamariaΣαμαρείαςSamareiasG4540and GalileeΓαλιλαίας.GalilaiasG1056.

12As He enteredεἰσερχομένουeiserchomenouG1525a villageκώμηνkōmēnG2968,tenδέκαdekaG1176leprousλεπροὶleproiG3015menἄνδρες,andresG435whoοἳhoiG3739stoodἔστησανestēsanG2476at a distanceπόρρωθεν.porrōthenG4207metἀπήντησανapēntēsanG528Him;

13and they raisedἦρανēranG142their voicesφωνὴνphōnēnG5456,sayingλέγοντες·legontesG3004, “JesusἸησοῦIēsouG2424,Masterἐπιστάτα,epistataG1988,haveG1653mercyG1653on us!”

14When He sawG3708them, He saidG3004to them, “GoπορευθέντεςporeuthentesG4198and showἐπιδείξατεepideixateG1925yourselvesἑαυτοὺςhe'autousG1438to the priestsἱερεῦσιν.hi'ereusinG2409.”And as they were goingὑπάγεινhupageinG5217,they were cleansedἐκαθαρίσθησαν.ekatharisthēsanG2511.

15NowδὲdeG1161oneεἷςheisG1520of them, when he sawG3708that he had been healedἰάθη,iathēG2390,turnedG5290backὑπέστρεψενhupestrepsenG5290,glorifyingδοξάζωνdoxazōnG1392Godθεόν.theonG2316with a loudμεγάληςmegalēsG3173voiceφωνῆςphōnēsG5456,

16and he fellἔπεσενepesenG4098on his faceπρόσωπονprosōponG4383at His feetπόδαςpodasG4228,givingG2168thanksεὐχαριστῶνeucharistōnG2168to Him. And he was aSamaritanΣαμαρίτης.¶SamaritēsG4541.

17ThenG2532JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424answeredἈποκριθεὶςApokritheisG611and saidG3004,“Were there not tenδέκαdekaG1176cleansedἐκαθαρίσθησαν;ekatharisthēsanG2511?But the nineἐννέαenneaG1767--whereποῦ;pouG4226are they?

18Was noοὐχouchG3756one foundεὑρέθησανheurethēsanG2147who returnedὑποστρέψαντεςhupostrepsantesG5290togiveδοῦναιdounaiG1325gloryδόξανdoxanG1391to GodθεῷtheōG2316,exceptG1508thisοὗτος;houtosG3778foreignerἀλλογενὴςallogenēsG241?”

19And He saidG3004to him,“StandἀναστὰςanastasG450up and goπορεύου·poreuouG4198;your faithπίστιςpistisG4102has madeG4982you wellG4982.”

20NowδὲdeG1161having been questionedἘπερωτηθεὶςEperōtētheisG1905by the PhariseesΦαρισαίωνPharisaiōnG5330as to whenπότεpoteG4219the kingdomβασιλείαbasileiaG932of Godθεοῦ,theouG2316was comingἔρχεταιerchetaiG2064,He answeredἀπεκρίθηapekrithēG611them and saidG3004,“The kingdomβασιλείαbasileiaG932of GodθεοῦtheouG2316is not comingἔρχεταιerchetaiG2064withsignsG3907to be observedG3907;

21norοὐδὲoudeG3761willthey sayG3004, ‘LookἰδοὺidouG2400,hereὧδεhōdeG5602it is!’orἢēG2228, ‘Thereἐκεῖ.ekeiG1563it is!’For beholdἰδοὺidouG2400,the kingdomβασιλείαbasileiaG932of GodθεοῦtheouG2316isin your midstἐντὸςentosG1787.”

22And He saidG3004to the disciplesμαθητάς·mathētasG3101, “The daysἡμέραιhēmeraiG2250will comeἐλεύσονταιeleusontaiG2064whenὅτεhoteG3753you will longἐπιθυμήσετεepithumēseteG1937to seeG3708oneμίανmianG1520of the daysἡμερῶνhēmerōnG2250of the SonυἱοῦhuiouG5207of ManἀνθρώπουanthrōpouG444,and you will not seeG3708it.

23They will sayG3004to you, ‘LookἰδοὺidouG2400thereἐκεῖekeiG1563!LookἰδοὺidouG2400hereὧδε.hōdeG5602!’Do not goἀπέλθητεapelthēteG565awayG565,and do not runG1377afterG1377them.

24For justG5618likeG5618the lightningἀστραπὴastrapēG796,when it flashesἀστράπτουσαastraptousaG797out of one partof the skyοὐρανὸνouranonG3772,shinesλάμπει,lampeiG2989to the other partof the skyοὐρανὸνouranonG3772,soοὕτωςhoutōsG3779will the SonυἱὸςhuiosG5207of ManἀνθρώπουanthrōpouG444be in His dayἡμέρᾳhēmeraG2250.

25But firstΠρῶτονPrōtonG4413He mustδεῖdeiG1163sufferπαθεῖνpatheinG3958manyπολλὰpollaG4183thingsG4183and be rejectedἀποδοκιμασθῆναιapodokimasthēnaiG593by thisταύτης.¶tautēsG3778generationγενεᾶςgeneasG1074.

26And justκαθὼςkathōsG2531as it happenedἐγένετοegenetoG1096in the daysἡμέραιςhēmeraisG2250of NoahΝῶε,NōeG3575,soοὕτωςhoutōsG3779it will be alsoG2532in the daysἡμέραιςhēmeraisG2250of the SonυἱοῦhuiouG5207of Manἀνθρώπου·anthrōpouG444:

27they were eatingἤσθιον,ēsthionG2068,they were drinkingἔπινον,epinonG4095,they were marryingἐγάμουν,egamounG1060,they were being givenG1061in marriageἐγαμίζοντο,egamizontoG1061,untilἄχριachriG891the dayἡμέραςhēmerasG2250that NoahΝῶεNōeG3575enteredεἰσῆλθενeisēlthenG1525the arkκιβωτόν,kibōtonG2787,and the floodκατακλυσμὸςkataklusmosG2627cameἦλθενēlthenG2064and destroyedἀπώλεσενapōlesenG622them allπάντας.pantasG3956.

28It was the sameὁμοίωςhomoiōsG3668as happenedἐγένετοegenetoG1096inthe daysἡμέραιςhēmeraisG2250of LotΛώτ·LōtG3091:they were eatingἤσθιον,ēsthionG2068,they were drinkingἔπινον,epinonG4095,they were buyingἠγόραζον,ēgorazonG59,they were sellingἐπώλουν,epōlounG4453,they were plantingἐφύτευον,ephuteuonG5452,they were buildingᾠκοδόμουν.ōkodomounG3618;

29but on the dayἡμέρᾳhēmeraG2250that LotΛὼτLōtG3091wentἐξῆλθενexēlthenG1831out from SodomΣοδόμων,SodomōnG4670it rainedἔβρεξενebrexenG1026fireπῦρpurG4442andbrimstoneθεῖονtheionG2303from heavenοὐρανοῦouranouG3772and destroyedἀπώλεσενapōlesenG622them allπάντας·pantasG3956.

30It will bejustκατὰkataG2596the sameαὐτὰautaG846on the dayἡμέρᾳhēmeraG2250that the SonυἱὸςhuiosG5207of ManἀνθρώπουanthrōpouG444is revealedἀποκαλύπτεται.¶apokaluptetaiG601.

31On that dayἡμέρᾳhēmeraG2250,the one whoG3739ison the housetopδώματοςdōmatosG1430and whoseG846goodsσκεύηskeuēG4632are in the houseοἰκίᾳ,oikiaG3614must not goG2597downG2597to takeἆραιaraiG142them out; and likewiseὁμοίωςhomoiōsG3668the one whoG3739is in the fieldἀγρῷagrōG68must not turnG1994backὀπίσω.opisōG3694 G1994.

32RememberμνημονεύετεmnēmoneueteG3421Lot’sΛώτ.LōtG3091wifeγυναικὸςgunaikosG1135.

33Whoeverὃς ἐὰνhos eanG3739 G1437seeksζητήσῃzētēsēG2212to keepπεριποιήσασθαιperipoiēsasthaiG4046hislifeψυχὴνpsuchēnG5590will loseἀπολέσειapoleseiG622it, and whoeverὃς ἂνhos anG3739 G302losesἀπολέσῃapolesēG622his lifewill preserveζῳογονήσειzōogonēseiG2225it.

34I tellΛέγωLegōG3004you, on that nightνυκτὶnuktiG3571there will be twoδύοduoG1417in oneμιᾶς·miasG1520bedκλίνηςklinēsG2825;oneεἷςheisG1520will be takenπαραλημφθήσεται,paralēmphthēsetaiG3880and the otherἕτεροςheterosG2087will be leftἀφεθήσεται.aphethēsetaiG863.

35There will be twoδύοduoG1417women grindingἀλήθουσαιalēthousaiG229at the sameαὐτό·autoG846place; oneμίαmiaG1520will be takenπαραλημφθήσεται,paralēmphthēsetaiG3880and the otherἑτέραheteraG2087will be leftἀφεθήσεται.¶aphethēsetaiG863.

36[TwoG1417menG1417will be in the fieldG68;oneG1520will be takenG3880and the otherG2087will be leftG863.”]

37And answeringἀποκριθέντεςapokrithentesG611they saidλέγουσινlegousinG3004to Him, “Whereποῦ,pouG4226,Lordκύριε;kurieG2962?”And He saidG3004to them, “WhereὅπουhopouG3699the bodyσῶμα,sōmaG4983is,thereἐκεῖekeiG1563alsoG2532thevulturesἀετοὶaetoiG105will be gatheredἐπισυναχθήσονται.¶episunachthēsontaiG1996.”
