2EachἕκαστοςhekastosG1538of us is topleaseἀρεσκέτωaresketōG700his neighborπλησίονplēsionG4139for his goodἀγαθὸνagathonG18, to hisedificationοἰκοδομήν.oikodomēnG3619.

3For evenκαὶkaiG2532ChristΧριστὸςChristosG5547did not pleaseἤρεσενēresenG700Himselfἑαυτῷhe'autōG1438,but as it is writtenγέγραπται·gegraptaiG1125: “The tauntsὀνειδισμοὶoneidismoiG3680of thoseG3588who tauntὀνειδιζόντωνoneidizontōnG3679You have fallenἐπέπεσανepepesanG1968on Me.”

7ThereforeδιὸdioG1352,acceptπροσλαμβάνεσθεproslambanestheG4355oneἀλλήλους,allēlousG240anotherG240,justG2531asG2531ChristΧριστὸςChristosG5547alsoκαὶkaiG2532acceptedπροσελάβετοproselabetoG4355us, for the gloryδόξανdoxanG1391of Godθεοῦ.theouG2316.

8For I sayλέγωlegōG3004that ChristΧριστὸνChristonG5547has becomeγεγενῆσθαιgegenēsthaiG1096a servantδιάκονονdiakononG1249tothe circumcisionπεριτομῆςperitomēsG4061inG5228behalfG5228of the truthἀληθείαςalētheiasG225of GodθεοῦtheouG2316,to confirmβεβαιῶσαιbebaiōsaiG950the promisesἐπαγγελίαςepangeliasG1860givento the fathersπατέρων,paterōnG3962,

9and forthe GentilesἔθνηethnēG1484toglorifyδοξάσαιdoxasaiG1392GodθεὸνtheonG2316for His mercyἐλέουςeleousG1656;as it is writtenγέγραπται·gegraptaiG1125: “Thereforeδιὰ τοῦτοdia toutoG1223 G3778I willgiveG1843praiseG1843to You amongἐνenG1722the GentilesἔθνεσινethnesinG1484,And I will singψαλῶ.psalōG5567praisesG5567to Your nameὀνόματίonomatiG3686.”

10AgainπάλινpalinG3825he saysλέγει·legeiG3004, “RejoiceεὐφράνθητεeuphranthēteG2165,you GentilesἔθνηethnēG1484,with His peopleλαοῦlaouG2992.”

11And againπάλιν·palinG3825, “PraiseαἰνεῖτεaineiteG134the Lordκύριον,kurionG2962allπάνταpantaG3956you GentilesἔθνηethnēG1484,And let allπάντεςpantesG3956the peoplesλαοί.laoiG2992praiseἐπαινεσάτωσανepainesatōsanG1867Him.”

12AgainπάλινpalinG3825IsaiahἨσαΐαςĒsaiasG2268saysλέγει·legeiG3004, “There shall comeἔσταιestaiG1510the rootῥίζαrhizaG4491of JesseἸεσσαί,IessaiG2421,And He who arisesἀνιστάμενοςanistamenosG450to ruleἄρχεινarcheinG757over the Gentilesἐθνῶν,ethnōnG1484,In Him will the GentilesἔθνηethnēG1484hopeἐλπιοῦσιν.¶elpiousinG1679.”

27For they were pleasedεὐδόκησανeudokēsanG2106to do so,and they are indebtedὀφειλέταιopheiletaiG3781to them. ForifεἰeiG1487the Gentilesἔθνη,ethnēG1484have sharedἐκοινώνησανekoinōnēsanG2841in their spiritualπνευματικοῖςpneumatikoisG4152thingsG4152,they are indebtedὀφείλουσινopheilousinG3784to doG3008them aG3008serviceG3008alsoG2532in materialσαρκικοῖςsarkikoisG4559thingsG4559.
