15For ifεἰeiG1487becauseδιὰdiaG1223of foodβρῶμαbrōmaG1033your brotherἀδελφόςadelphosG80or sisteris hurtλυπεῖται,lupeitaiG3076,you are noG3765longerG3765walkingπεριπατεῖς.peripateisG4043inG2596accordanceG2596withG2596loveἀγάπηνagapēnG26.Do not destroyἀπόλλυεapollueG622with your choiceof foodβρώματίbrōmatiG1033that personfor whomοὗhouG3739ChristΧριστὸςChristosG5547diedἀπέθανεν.apethanenG599.

16ThereforeοὖνounG3767do not let whatG18isG18for you a goodἀγαθόν.agathonG18thingG18bespokenG987ofG987asG987evilG987;

17for the kingdomβασιλείαbasileiaG932of GodθεοῦtheouG2316is not eatingβρῶσιςbrōsisG1035and drinkingπόσιςposisG4213,but righteousnessδικαιοσύνηdikaiosunēG1343andpeaceεἰρήνηeirēnēG1515andjoyχαρὰcharaG5479in the Holyἁγίῳ·hagiōG40SpiritπνεύματιpneumatiG4151.

18For the one whoservesδουλεύωνdouleuōnG1398ChristΧριστῷChristōG5547in thisτούτῳtoutōG3778way isacceptableεὐάρεστοςeuarestosG2101to GodθεῷtheōG2316and approvedδόκιμοςdokimosG1384by otherpeopleἀνθρώποις.¶anthrōpoisG444.

23Butthe one who doubtsδιακρινόμενοςdiakrinomenosG1252is condemnedκατακέκριται,katakekritaiG2632ifἐὰνeanG1437he eatsG2068,becauseὅτιhotiG3754his eating isnot from faithπίστεως·pisteōsG4102;and whateverπᾶν ὃpan hoG3956 G3739is not from faithπίστεωςpisteōsG4102is sinἁμαρτίαhamartiaG266.
