Matthew 26:39-56
And goingG4281 forwardG4334 a littleG3398 he fellG4098 upon his faceG4383, prayingG4336 and sayingG3004, My FatherG3962, if it beG1510 possibleG1415 let this cupG4221 passG3928 from me; but not as I will, but as thou [wilt].
And he comesG2064 to the disciplesG3101 and findsG2147 them sleepingG2518, and saysG3004 to PeterG4074, ThusG3779 ye have not been ableG2480 to watchG1127 oneG1520 hourG5610 with me?
WatchG1127 and prayG4336, that ye enterG1525 not into temptationG3986: the spiritG4151 indeed [is] ready, but the fleshG4561 weakG772.
AgainG3825 goingG565 awayG565 a secondG1208 timeG1208 he prayedG4336 sayingG3004, My FatherG3962, if this cannot passG3928 [from me] unless I drinkG4095 it, thy will be done.
And comingG2064 he foundG2147 them againG3825 sleepingG2518, for their eyesG3788 wereG1510 heavy.
And leavingG863 them, he wentG565 awayG565 againG3825 and prayedG4336 the thirdG5154 timeG5154, sayingG3004 the sameG846 thing.
Then he comesG2064 to the disciplesG3101 and saysG3004 to them, SleepG2518 on now and take your restG373; beholdG2400, the hourG5610 has drawn nigh, and the SonG5207 of manG444 is deliveredG3860 up into the handsG5495 of sinnersG268.
AriseG1453, let us goG71; beholdG2400, he that delivers me up has drawn nigh.
And while he was yet speakingG2980, beholdG2400, JudasG2455, oneG1520 of the twelveG1427, cameG2064, and with him a greatG4183 crowdG3793 with swordsG3162 and sticks from the chiefG749 priestsG749 and eldersG4245 of the peopleG2992.
NowG1161 he that deliveredG3860 him up had givenG1325 them a signG4592, sayingG3004, Whomsoever I shall kissG5368, he it isG1510: seizeG2902 him.
And immediatelyG2112 comingG4334 up to JesusG2424 he saidG3004, HailG5463, RabbiG4461, and covered him with kisses.
But JesusG2424 saidG3004 to him, [My] friendG2083, for what purpose art thou comeG4334? Then comingG4334 up they laidG1911 handsG5495 upon JesusG2424 and seizedG2902 him.
And beholdG2400, oneG1520 of those with JesusG2424 stretchedG1614 out his handG5495 and drew his swordG3162, and smiting the bondman of the highG749 priestG749 took off his earG5621.
ThenG5119 saith JesusG2424 to him, Return thy swordG3162 to its placeG5117; for all who takeG2983 the swordG3162 shall perishG622 by the swordG3162.
Or thinkest thou that I cannot now call upon my FatherG3962, and he will furnish me moreG4183 than twelveG1427 legionsG3003 of angelsG32?
HowG4459 thenG3767 should the scripturesG1124 be fulfilled that thus it must be?
In that hourG5610 JesusG2424 saidG3004 to the crowdsG3793, Are ye comeG1831 out as against a robberG3027 with swordsG3162 and sticks to takeG2902 me? I sat daily [with you] teachingG1321 in the temple, and ye did not seizeG2902 me.
But all this is comeG1096 to passG1096 that the scripturesG1124 of the prophetsG4396 may be fulfilled. ThenG5119 all the disciplesG3101 leftG863 him and fledG5343.
