Luke 6:20-49
20And he, liftingG1869 up his eyesG3788 upon his disciplesG3101, saidG3004, Blessed [areG1510] ye poorG4434, for yours isG1510 the kingdomG932 of 1GodG2316. 21Blessed ye that hungerG3983 nowG3568, for ye shall be filledG5526. Blessed ye that weepG2799 nowG3568, for ye shall laugh. 22Blessed areG1510 ye whenG3752 menG444 shall hateG3404 you, and whenG3752 they shall separateG873 you [from them], and shall reproach [you], and castG1544 out your nameG3686 as wickedG4190, for the SonG5207 of man's sakeG1752: 23rejoiceG5463 in that dayG2250 and leapG4640 for joy, for beholdG2400, your rewardG3408 is greatG4183 in the heavenG3772, for after this manner did their fathersG3962 act toward the prophetsG4396. 24But woeG3759 to you richG4145, for ye have received your consolation. 25WoeG3759 to you that are filled, for ye shall hungerG3983. WoeG3759 to you who laugh nowG3568, for ye shall mournG3996 and weepG2799. 26WoeG3759, whenG3752 all menG444 speakG3004 wellG2573 of you, for after this manner did their fathersG3962 to the falseG5578 prophetsG5578. 27But to you that hearG191 I sayG3004, LoveG25 your enemiesG2190; do goodG2573 to those that hateG3404 you; 28blessG2127 those that curseG2672 you; prayG4336 for those who use you despitefully. 29To him that smites thee on the cheekG4600, offer alsoG2532 the otherG243; and from him that would takeG142 awayG142 thy garmentG2440, forbidG2967 not thy body-coat alsoG2532. 30To every oneG3588 that asksG154 of thee, giveG1325; and from him that takesG142 awayG142 what is thine, askG154 it not back. 31And as ye wishG2309 that menG444 should do to you, do ye alsoG2532 to them in like manner. 32And if ye loveG25 those that loveG25 you, what thankG5485 isG1510 it to you? for evenG2532 sinnersG268 loveG25 those that loveG25 them. 33And if ye do goodG15 to those that do goodG15 to you, what thankG5485 isG1510 it to you? for evenG2532 sinnersG268 do the sameG846. 34And if ye lendG1155 to those from whom ye hopeG1679 to receiveG2983, what thankG5485 isG1510 it to you? [for] evenG2532 sinnersG268 lendG1155 to sinnersG268 that they may receiveG2983 the like. 35But loveG25 your enemiesG2190, and do goodG15, and lendG1155, hoping for nothingG3367 in return, and your rewardG3408 shall beG1510 greatG4183, and ye shall beG1510 sonsG5207 of [the] HighestG5310; for he isG1510 goodG15 to the unthankful and wickedG4190. 36BeG1510 ye therefore mercifulG3629, even as your FatherG3962 also isG1510 mercifulG3629. 37And judgeG2919 not, and ye shall not be judgedG2919; condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned. Remit, and it shall be remitted to you. 38GiveG1325, and it shall be givenG1325 to you; goodG2570 measureG3354, pressed down, and shakenG4531 together, and running over, shall be givenG1325 into your bosomG2859: for with the same measureG3354 with which ye mete it shall be measuredG3354 to you again. 39And he spokeG3004 alsoG2532 a parableG3850 to them: Can a blindG5185 [manG5185] leadG3594 a blindG5185 [manG5185]? shall not both fallG1706 into [the] ditch? 40The discipleG3101 isG1510 not above his teacherG1320, but every oneG3588 that isG1510 perfected shall beG1510 as his teacherG1320. 41But whyG5101 lookest thou on the mote which is in the eyeG3788 of thy brotherG80, but perceivest not the beam which is in thine ownG2398 eyeG3788? 42or howG4459 canst thou sayG3004 to thy brotherG80, BrotherG80, allowG863 [me], I will castG1544 out the mote that is in thine eyeG3788, thyself not seeingG991 the beam that is in thine eyeG3788? HypocriteG5273, castG1544 out firstG4413 the beam out of thine eyeG3788, and then thou shalt seeG991 clear to castG1544 out the mote which is in the eyeG3788 of thy brotherG80. 43For there isG1510 no goodG2570 treeG1186 which producesG4160 corrupt fruitG2590, nor a corrupt treeG1186 which producesG4160 goodG2570 fruitG2590; 44for every treeG1186 is knownG1097 by its ownG2398 fruitG2590, for figsG4810 are not gatheredG4816 from thornsG173, nor grapes vintaged from a bramble. 45The goodG18 manG444, out of the goodG18 treasureG2344 of his heartG2588, bringsG4393 forthG4393 goodG18; and the wickedG4190 [manG444] out of the wickedG4190, bringsG4393 forthG4393 what is wickedG4190: for out of the abundance of the heartG2588 his mouthG4750 speaksG2980. 46And whyG5101 callG2564 ye me, LordG2962, LordG2962, and do not the thingsG3739 that I sayG3004? 47Every one that comesG2064 to me, and hearsG191 my wordsG3056 and does them, I will shew you to whom he isG1510 like. 48He isG1510 like a manG444 buildingG3618 a houseG3614, who dugG4626 and went deep, and laidG5087 a foundationG2310 on the rockG4073; but a great rain comingG1096, the stream broke upon that houseG3614, and could not shake it, for it had beenG1510 founded on the rockG4073. 49And he that has heardG191 and not done, isG1510 like a manG444 who has builtG3618 a houseG3614 on the groundG1093 without [a] foundationG2310, on which the stream broke, and immediately it fellG4098, and the breach of that houseG3614 wasG1510 greatG3173.
