Luke 4:16-30
And he cameG2064 to NazarethG3478, whereG3757 he wasG1510 brought up; and he enteredG1525, accordingG2596 to his custom, into the synagogueG4864 on the sabbathG4521 dayG2250, and stoodG450 up to readG314.
And [the] bookG975 of the prophetG4396 Esaias wasG1510 given to him; and having unrolled the bookG975 he foundG2147 the placeG5117 whereG3757 it wasG1510 writtenG1125,
[The] SpiritG4151 of [the] LordG2962 is upon me, because he has anointedG5548 me to preachG2784 glad tidings to [the] poorG4434; he has sentG649 me to preachG2784 to captives deliverance, and to [the] blindG5185 sight, to sendG649 forthG649 [the] crushed delivered,
to preachG2784 [the] acceptableG1184 yearG1763 of [the] LordG2962.
And having rolled up the bookG975, when he had delivered it up to the attendant, he satG2523 downG2523; and the eyesG3788 of all in the synagogueG4864 wereG1510 fixed upon him.
And he beganG757 to sayG3004 to them, To-day this scriptureG1124 is fulfilled in your earsG3775.
And all bore witnessG3140 to him, and wonderedG2296 at the wordsG3056 of graceG5485 which wereG1510 comingG1607 out of his mouthG4750. And they saidG3004, IsG1510 not this the sonG5207 of JosephG2501?
And he saidG3004 to them, Ye will surely sayG3004 to me this parableG3850, PhysicianG2395, healG2323 thyself; whatsoever we have heardG191 has taken placeG1096 in CapernaumG2584 do hereG5602 alsoG2532 in thine ownG1438 country.
And he saidG3004, Verily I sayG3004 to you, that no prophetG4396 isG1510 acceptableG1184 in his [ownG1438] country.
But of a truthG225 I sayG3004 to you, There wereG1510 manyG4183 widowsG5503 in IsraelG2474 in the daysG2250 of Elias, whenG3753 the heavenG3772 wasG1510 shutG2808 up for threeG5140 yearsG2094 and sixG1803 monthsG3376, so that a greatG3173 famineG3042 cameG1096 upon all the landG1093,
and to noneG3762 of them was Elias sentG3992 but to Sarepta of Sidonia, to a womanG1135 [that was] a widowG5503.
And there wereG1510 manyG4183 lepersG3015 in IsraelG2474 in the time of Elisha the prophetG4396, and noneG3762 of them wasG1510 cleansedG2511 but Naaman the Syrian.
And they were all filledG4130 with rageG2372 in the synagogueG4864, hearingG191 these thingsG3778;
and risingG450 up they castG1544 him forth out of the cityG4172, and ledG71 him up to the brow of the mountainG3735 upon which their cityG4172 was builtG3618, so that they might throw him down the precipice;
but he, passingG1330 through the midstG3319 of them, wentG4198 his way,
