Jeremiah 7:22-24
22For I spokeH1696 not unto your fathersH1, nor commandedH6680 them concerning burnt-offerings and sacrificesH2077, in the dayH3117 that I broughtH3318 them out of the landH776 of EgyptH4714;
23but I commandedH6680 them this thingH1697, sayingH559, Hearken unto my voiceH6963, and I will beH1961 your 1GodH430, and ye shall beH1961 my peopleH5971; and walkH1980 in all the wayH1870 that I commandH6680 you, that it may beH1961 wellH3190 with you.
24But they hearkened not, nor inclinedH5186 their earH241, but walked in the counselsH4156, in the stubbornnessH8307 of their evilH7451 heartH3820, and went backwardH268 and not forward.
