Jeremiah 7:18-22
The children gatherH3950 woodH6086, and the fathersH1 kindleH1197 the fireH784, and the womenH802 kneadH3888 doughH1217, to makeH6213 cakes to the queenH4446 of heavenH8064, and to pourH5258 out drink-offerings unto otherH312 1godsH430, that they may provokeH3707 me to angerH3707.
Is it I whom they provokeH3707 to angerH3707? saith Jehovah; is it not themselves, to the shameH1322 of their own faceH6440?
ThereforeH3651 thusH3541 saith the LordH136 Jehovah: Behold, mine angerH639 and my fury shall be pouredH5413 out upon this placeH4725; upon manH120, and upon beast, and upon the treesH6086 of the fieldH7704, and upon the fruitH6529 of the groundH127; and it shall burnH1197, and shall not be quenchedH3518.
ThusH3541 saith Jehovah of hostsH6635, the 2GodH430 of IsraelH3478: AddH5595 your burnt-offerings to your sacrificesH2077, and eatH398 the fleshH1320.
For I spokeH1696 not unto your fathersH1, nor commandedH6680 them concerning burnt-offerings and sacrificesH2077, in the dayH3117 that I broughtH3318 them out of the landH776 of EgyptH4714;
