Jeremiah 6:1-8
Flee for safety, ye children of BenjaminH1144, out of the midstH7130 of JerusalemH3389, and blowH8628 the trumpetH7782 in TekoaH8620, and set up a signal in Beth-haccerem; for evilH7451 appeareth out of the northH6828, and a greatH1419 destructionH7667.
The comely and delicate one do I cut off, the daughterH1323 of ZionH6726.
ShepherdsH7462 with their flocksH5739 shall comeH935 unto her; they shall pitchH8628 [their] tentsH168 against her roundH5439 about; they shall feedH7462 every oneH376 in his place.
Prepare warH4421 against her. AriseH6965, and let us goH5927 up at noonH6672. WoeH188 unto us! for the dayH3117 hath declined, for the shadows of the eveningH6153 are lengthening.
AriseH6965, and let us goH5927 up by nightH3915, and let us destroyH7843 her palaces.
For thusH3541 hath Jehovah of hostsH6635 saidH559: Hew ye downH3772 trees, and cast a mound against JerusalemH3389. She is the cityH5892 to be visitedH6485; she is wholly oppressionH6233 in the midstH7130 of her.
As a well poureth forth her watersH4325, so she poureth forth her wickednessH7451: violenceH2555 and destructionH7701 are heardH8085 in her; before me continuallyH8548 are grief and woundsH4347.
Be thou instructedH3256, JerusalemH3389, lestH6435 my soulH5315 be alienated from thee; lestH6435 I makeH7760 thee a desolationH8077, a landH776 not inhabitedH3427.
