Jeremiah 5:25-31
25Your iniquitiesH5771 have turnedH5186 away these thingsH428, and your sinsH2403 have withholden from you what is goodH2896. 26For among my peopleH5971 are foundH4672 wickedH7563 [menH376]: they lay wait, as fowlersH3353 stoop down; they setH5324 a trap, they catchH3920 menH376. 27As a cage fullH4392 of birdsH5775, soH3651 are their housesH1004 fullH4392 of deceitH4820: thereforeH3651 they are becomeH1431 greatH1431, and have enriched themselves. 28They are become fatH8080, they shine, yea, they surpass in deeds of wickednessH7451; they judgeH8199 not the cause, the cause of the fatherlessH3490, and they prosperH6743; and the rightH4941 of the needyH34 do they not adjudge. 29Shall I not visitH6485 for these thingsH428? saith Jehovah; shall not my soulH5315 be avengedH5358 on such a nationH1471 as this? 30An appalling and horrible thing is committed in the landH776: 31the prophetsH5030 prophesyH5012 falsehoodH8267, and the priestsH3548 rule by their means; and my peopleH5971 loveH157 [to have it] soH3651. But what will ye do in the endH319 thereof?
