Jeremiah 15:5-9
For who shall have pityH2550 upon thee, JerusalemH3389? and who shall bemoan thee? and who shall turnH5493 asideH5493 to askH7592 after thy welfareH7965?
Thou hast cast me off, saith Jehovah, thou art gone backwardH268; and I have stretchedH5186 out my handH3027 against thee, and will destroyH7843 thee: I am becomeH3811 wearyH3811 of repenting.
And I will fan them with a fan in the gatesH8179 of the landH776; I will bereaveH7921 of children [and] destroyH6 my peopleH5971: they have not returnedH7725 from their waysH1870.
Their widowsH490 are increased to me more than the sandH2344 of the seasH3220; I have broughtH935 upon them, against the motherH517 of the youngH970 menH970, a spoiler at noonday; I have caused anguish and terrorH928 to fallH5307 upon her suddenlyH6597.
She that hath borneH3205 sevenH7651 languisheth, she hath givenH5414 up the ghost; her sunH8121 is goneH935 down while it is yetH5750 dayH3119; she is putH5414 to shameH954 and confounded. And the residue of them will I giveH5414 up to the swordH2719 before their enemiesH341, saith Jehovah.
