Revised Version 1895
Jeremiah 15:5-9
5For who shall have pityH2550 uponH5921 thee, O JerusalemH3389? or who shall bemoan thee? or who shall turnH5493 asideH5493 to askH7592 of thy welfareH7965?
6Thou hast rejected meH5921, saith the LORDH3068, thou art gone backwardH268: therefore have I stretchedH5186 outH5186 my handH3027 againstH5921 thee, and destroyedH7843 thee; I am wearyH3811 with repenting.
7And I have fanned them with a fan in the gatesH8179 of the landH776; I have bereavedH7921 them of childrenH7921, I have destroyedH6 my peopleH5971; they have notH3808 returnedH7725 from their waysH1870.
8Their widowsH490 are increased to meH5921 aboveH5921 the sandH2344 of the seasH3220: I have broughtH935 uponH5921 them againstH5921 the motherH517 of the youngH970 menH970 a spoiler at noonday: I have caused anguish and terrors to fallH5307 uponH5921 herH5921 suddenlyH6597.
9SheH6440 that hath borneH3205 sevenH7651 languisheth; sheH6440 hath givenH5414 upH5414 the ghost; herH5414 sunH8121 is goneH935 downH5414 whileH5750 it was yet dayH3119; sheH6440 hath been ashamedH954 and confoundedH2659: and the residue of them will I deliverH5414 to the swordH2719 beforeH6440 their enemiesH341, saith the LORDH3068.
