17But woeοὐαὶouaiG3759to thoseG3588womenG3588who are pregnantγαστρὶgastriG1064,and to thoseG3588who are nursingG2337babiesG2337in thoseG3588daysἡμέραις.hēmeraisG2250!

18MoreoverδὲdeG1161,prayπροσεύχεσθεproseuchestheG4336that it will not happenγένηταιgenētaiG1096in winterχειμῶνος.cheimōnosG5494.

19For thoseἐκεῖναιekeinaiG1565daysἡμέραιhēmeraiG2250will be suchοἵαoiaG3634a time oftribulationθλῖψιςthlipsisG2347as has not occurredG1096sinceἀπ᾽ap᾽G575the beginningἀρχῆςarchēsG746of the creationκτίσεωςktiseōsG2937whichἣνhēnG3739GodθεὸςtheosG2316createdἔκτισενektisenG2936untilἕωςhe'ōsG2193nowνῦνnunG3568,and neverμὴmēG3756 G3361will again.

20And ifεἰeiG1487the LordκύριοςkuriosG2962had not shortenedἐκολόβωσενekolobōsenG2856thosedaysἡμέρας,hēmerasG2250,noοὐκ πᾶσαouk pasaG3756 G3956lifeσάρξ·sarxG4561would have been savedἐσώθηesōthēG4982;but for the sakeδιὰdiaG1223of theelectἐκλεκτοὺςeklektousG1588,whomοὓςhousG3739He choseἐξελέξατοexelexatoG1586,He shortenedἐκολόβωσενekolobōsenG2856the daysἡμέρας.hēmerasG2250.

24“But in thoseG1565daysἡμέραιςhēmeraisG2250,afterμετὰmetaG3326that tribulationθλῖψινthlipsinG2347,the sunἥλιοςhēliosG2246will be darkenedσκοτισθήσεται,skotisthēsetaiG4654and the moonσελήνηselēnēG4582will not giveδώσειdōseiG1325its lightφέγγοςphengosG5338,

25and the starsἀστέρεςasteresG792will be fallingπίπτοντες,piptontesG4098from heavenοὐρανοῦouranouG3772,and the powersδυνάμειςdunameisG1411that are in the heavensοὐρανοῖςouranoisG3772will be shakenσαλευθήσονται.saleuthēsontaiG4531.

26And thenτότεtoteG5119they will seeG3708the SonυἱὸνhuionG5207of ManἀνθρώπουanthrōpouG444comingἐρχόμενονerchomenonG2064in cloudsνεφέλαιςnephelaisG3507with greatπολλῆςpollēsG4183powerδυνάμεωςdunameōsG1411and gloryδόξης.doxēsG1391.
