Mark 13:1-23
11As He was goingG1607 out of the templeG2413, oneG1520 of His disciplesG3101 saidG3004 to Him, “TeacherG1320, beholdG2396 2whatG4217 wonderfulG4217 stonesG3037 and 3whatG4217 wonderfulG4217 buildingsG3619!” 2And JesusG2424 saidG3004 to him, “Do you seeG991 theseG3778 greatG3173 buildingsG3619? 4Not one stoneG3037 will be leftG863 upon anotherG3037 whichG3739 will not be tornG2647 downG2647.”
3As He was sittingG2521 on 5the MountG3735 of OlivesG1636 oppositeG2713 the templeG2413, 6PeterG4074 and 7JamesG2385 and JohnG2491 and AndrewG406 were questioningG1905 Him privatelyG2596G2398, 4“TellG3004 us, whenG4219 will theseG3778 thingsG3778 be, and whatG5101 will be the 8signG4592 whenG3752 allG3956 theseG3778 thingsG3778 are goingG3195 to be fulfilledG4931?” 5And JesusG2424 beganG757 to sayG3004 to them, “SeeG991 to it that noG3361 oneG5100 misleadsG4105 you. 6ManyG4183 will comeG2064 in My nameG3686, sayingG3004, ‘9I amG1510 He!’ and will misleadG4105 manyG4183. 7WhenG3752 you hearG191 of warsG4171 and rumorsG189 of warsG4171, do not be frightenedG2360; those things mustG1163 takeG1096 placeG1096; but that is not yetG3768 the endG5056. 8For nationG1484 will riseG1453 up againstG1909 nationG1484, and kingdomG932 againstG1909 kingdomG932; there will be earthquakesG4578 in variousG2596 placesG5117; there will also be faminesG3042. TheseG3778 thingsG3778 are merely the beginningG746 of birthG5604 pangsG5604.
9“But 10be on your guardG991; for they will 11deliverG3860 you to the 12courtsG4892, and you will be floggedG1194 13in the synagoguesG4864, and you will standG2476 beforeG1909 governorsG2232 and kingsG935 for My sakeG1752, as a testimonyG3142 to them. 1014The gospelG2098 mustG1163 firstG4413 be preachedG2784 to allG3956 the nationsG1484. 1115WhenG3752 they 16arrestG71 you and handG3860 you over, do not worryG4305 beforehandG4305 about whatG5101 you are to sayG2980, but sayG2980 whateverG3739G1437 is givenG1325 you in that hourG5610; for it is not you who speakG2980, but it is the HolyG40 SpiritG4151. 12BrotherG80 will betrayG3860 brotherG80 to deathG2288, and a fatherG3962 his childG5043; and childrenG5043 will riseG1881 up againstG1909 parentsG1118 and 17have them putG2289 to deathG2289. 1318You will be hatedG3404 by allG3956 becauseG1223 of My nameG3686, but the one who enduresG5278 to the endG5056, he will be savedG4982.
14“But 19whenG3752 you seeG3708 the 20abominationG946 of desolationG2050 standingG2476 whereG3699 it shouldG1163 not be (let the readerG314 understandG3539), thenG5119 thoseG3588 whoG3588 are in JudeaG2453 must fleeG5343 to the mountainsG3735. 1521The oneG3739 whoG3588 is on the housetopG1430 must not goG2597 downG2597, orG3366 goG2597 in to getG142 anythingG5100 out of his houseG3614; 16and the oneG3739 whoG3588 is in the fieldG68 must not turnG1994 backG3694G1994 to getG142 his coatG2440. 17But woeG3759 to thoseG3588 who are pregnantG1064 and to thoseG3588 who are nursingG2337 babiesG2337 in thoseG3588 daysG2250! 18But prayG4336 that it may not happenG1096 in the winterG5494. 19For thoseG1565 daysG2250 will be a time of tribulationG2347 suchG3634 as has not occurredG1096 22sinceG575 the beginningG746 of the creationG2937 whichG3739 GodG2316 createdG2936 untilG2193 nowG3568, and neverG3756G3361 will. 20UnlessG1487 the LordG2962 had shortenedG2856 those daysG2250, noG3756G3956 23lifeG4561 would have been savedG4982; but for the sakeG1223 of the 24electG1588, whomG3739 He choseG1586, He shortenedG2856 the daysG2250. 21And thenG5119 ifG1437 anyoneG5100 saysG3004 to you, ‘BeholdG2396, hereG5602 is 25the ChristG5547’; or, ‘BeholdG2396, He is thereG1563’; do not believeG4100 him; 22for falseG5580 ChristsG5580 and 26falseG5578 prophetsG5578 will ariseG1453, and will showG4160 2728signsG4592 and 29wondersG5059, in orderG4314 to leadG635 astrayG635, ifG1487 possibleG1415, the electG1588. 23But takeG991 heedG991; beholdG2400, I have toldG4275 you everythingG3956 in advanceG4275.
