Revelation 14
Darby Bible
1And I sawG3708, and beholdG2400, the LambG721 standingG2476 upon mountG3735 ZionG4622, and with him a hundredG1540 [and] forty-fourG5062 thousandG5505, having his nameG3686 and the nameG3686 of his FatherG3962 writtenG1125 upon their foreheadsG3359. 2And I heardG191 a voiceG5456 out of the heavenG3772 as a voiceG5456 of manyG4183 watersG5204, and as a voiceG5456 of greatG3173 thunderG1027. And the voiceG5456 which I heardG191 [was] as of harp-singers harping with their harpsG2788; 3and they sing a newG2537 songG5603 before the throneG2362, and before the fourG5064 living creaturesG2226 and the eldersG4245. And no oneG3762 could learnG3129 that songG5603 save the hundredG1540 [and] forty-fourG5062 thousandG5505 who were boughtG59 from the earthG1093. 4These areG1510 they who have not beenG1510 defiled with womenG1135, for they areG1510 virginsG3933: these areG1510 they who followG190 the LambG721 wheresoever it goesG5217. These have beenG1510 boughtG59 from menG444 [as] first-fruits to 1GodG2316 and to the LambG721: 5and in their mouthsG4750 wasG1510 no lieG5579 foundG2147; [for] they areG1510 blamelessG299. 6And I sawG3708 another angelG32 flyingG4072 in mid-heaven, having [the] everlasting glad tidings to announce to those settled on the earthG1093, and to every nationG1484 and tribeG5443 and tongueG1100 and peopleG2992, 7sayingG3004 with a loudG3173 voiceG5456, FearG5399 2GodG2316 and giveG1325 him gloryG1391, for the hourG5610 of his judgmentG2920 has comeG2064; and do homage to him who has madeG4160 the heavenG3772 and the earthG1093 and the seaG2281 and fountains of watersG5204. 8And another, a secondG1208, angelG32 followedG190, sayingG3004, GreatG3173 BabylonG897 has fallenG4098, has fallenG4098, which of the wineG3631 of the fury of her fornication has made all nationsG1484 drinkG4222. 9And another, a thirdG5154, angelG32 followedG190 them, sayingG3004 with a loudG3173 voiceG5456, If any oneG5100 do homage to the beastG2342 and its imageG1504, and receiveG2983 a markG5480 upon his foreheadG3359 or upon his handG5495, 10he alsoG2532 shall drinkG4095 of the wineG3631 of the fury of 3GodG2316 prepared unmixed in the cupG4221 of his wrathG3709, and he shall be tormentedG928 in fireG4442 and brimstoneG2303 before the holyG40 angelsG32 and before the LambG721. 11And the smokeG2586 of their tormentG929 goesG305 up to agesG165 of agesG165, and they have no respite dayG2250 and nightG3571 who do homage to the beastG2342 and to its imageG1504, and if any oneG5100 receiveG2983 the markG5480 of its nameG3686. 12HereG5602 isG1510 the enduranceG5281 of the saintsG40, who keepG5083 the commandmentsG1785 of 4GodG2316 and the faithG4102 of JesusG2424. 13And I heardG191 a voiceG5456 out of the heavenG3772 sayingG3004, WriteG1125, Blessed the deadG3498 who dieG599 in [the] LordG2962 from henceforth. Yea, saith the SpiritG4151, that they may restG373 from their labours; for their worksG2041 followG190 with them. 14And I sawG3708, and beholdG2400, a whiteG3022 cloudG3507, and on the cloudG3507 one sittingG2521 like [the] SonG5207 of manG444, having upon his headG2776 a goldenG5552 crownG4735, and in his handG5495 a sharpG3691 sickleG1407. 15And another angelG32 cameG2064 out of the templeG3485, cryingG2896 with a loudG3173 voiceG5456 to him that satG2521 on the cloudG3507, SendG3992 thy sickleG1407 and reapG2325; for the hourG5610 of reapingG2325 is comeG2064, for the harvestG2326 of the earthG1093 is dried. 16And he that satG2521 on the cloudG3507 putG906 his sickleG1407 on the earthG1093, and the earthG1093 was reapedG2325. 17And another angelG32 cameG1831 out of the templeG3485 which [is] in the heavenG3772, he alsoG2532 having a sharpG3691 sickleG1407. 18And another angelG32 cameG1831 out of the altarG2379, having powerG1849 over fireG4442, and called with a loudG3173 cryG5456 to him that had the sharpG3691 sickleG1407, sayingG3004, SendG3992 thy sharpG3691 sickleG1407, and gatherG5166 the bunches of the vineG288 of the earthG1093; for her grapes are fully ripened. 19And the angelG32 putG906 his sickleG1407 to the earthG1093, and gatheredG5166 the vineG288 of the earthG1093, and castG906 [the bunches] into the greatG3173 wine-press of the fury of 5GodG2316; 20and the wine-press was troddenG3961 without the cityG4172, and bloodG129 wentG1831 out of the wine-press to the bits of the horsesG2462 for a thousandG5507 sixG1812 hundredG1812 stadia.
