Revelation 14
American Standard Version
1And I sawG3708, and beholdG2400, the LambG721 standingG2476 on the mountG3735 ZionG4622, and with him a hundredG1540 and fortyG5062 and fourG5064 thousandG5505, having his nameG3686, and the nameG3686 of his FatherG3962, writtenG1125 on their foreheadsG3359. 2And I heardG191 a voiceG5456 from heavenG3772, as the voiceG5456 of manyG4183 watersG5204, and as the voiceG5456 of a greatG3173 thunderG1027: and the voiceG5456 which I heardG191wasasthe voiceG5456of harpers harping with their harpsG2788: 3and they sing as it were a newG2537 songG5603 before the throneG2362, and before the fourG5064 living creaturesG2226 and the eldersG4245: and no man could learnG3129 the songG5603 save the hundredG1540 and fortyG5062 and fourG5064 thousandG5505, evenG2532 they that had been purchased out of the earthG1093. 4These areG1510 they that wereG1510 not defiled with womenG1135; for they areG1510 virginsG3933. These areG1510 they that followG190 the LambG721 whithersoever he goeth. These wereG1510 purchased from among menG444, to beG1510 the firstfruits unto GodG2316 and unto the LambG721. 5And in their mouthG4750 wasG1510 foundG2147 no lieG5579: they areG1510 without blemish.
6And I sawG3708 another angelG32 flyingG4072 in mid heaven, having eternalG166 good tidings to proclaim unto them that dwell on the earthG1093, and unto every nationG1484 and tribeG5443 and tongueG1100 and peopleG2992; 7and he saith with a greatG3173 voiceG5456, FearG5399 GodG2316, and giveG1325 him gloryG1391; for the hourG5610 of his judgmentG2920 is comeG2064: and worshipG4352 him that madeG4160 the heavenG3772 and the earthG1093 and seaG2281 and fountains of watersG5204.
8And another, a secondG1208 angelG32, followedG190, sayingG3004, FallenG4098, fallenG4098 is BabylonG897 the greatG3173, that hath made all the nationsG1484 to drinkG4222 of the wineG3631 of the wrathG2372 of her fornication.
9And another angelG32, a thirdG5154, followedG190 them, sayingG3004 with a greatG3173 voiceG5456, If any man worshippeth the beastG2342 and his imageG1504, and receiveth a markG5480 on his foreheadG3359, or upon his handG5495, 10he alsoG2532 shall drinkG4095 of the wineG3631 of the wrathG3709 of GodG2316, which is prepared unmixed in the cupG4221 of his angerG3709; and he shall be tormentedG928 with fireG4442 and brimstoneG2303 in the presenceG1799 of the holyG40 angelsG32, and in the presenceG1799 of the LambG721: 11and the smokeG2586 of their tormentG929 goeth up for ever and ever; and they have no restG372 dayG2250 and nightG3571, they that worshipG4352 the beastG2342 and his imageG1504, and whoso receiveth the markG5480 of his nameG3686. 12HereG5602 isG1510 the patience of the saintsG40, they that keepG5083 the commandmentsG1785 of GodG2316, and the faithG4102 of JesusG2424.
13And I heardG191 a voiceG5456 from heavenG3772 sayingG3004, WriteG1125, Blessed are the deadG3498 who dieG599 in the LordG2962 from henceforth: yea, saith the SpiritG4151, that they may restG373 from their laborsG2873; for their worksG2041 followG190 with them.
14And I sawG3708, and beholdG2400, a whiteG3022 cloudG3507; and on the cloudG3507I sawG3708one sittingG2521 like unto a sonG5207 of manG444, having on his headG2776 a goldenG5552 crownG4735, and in his handG5495 a sharpG3691 sickleG1407. 15And another angelG32 cameG2064 out from the templeG3485, cryingG2896 with a greatG3173 voiceG5456 to him that satG2521 on the cloudG3507, SendG3992 forthG1831 thy sickleG1407, and reapG2325: for the hourG5610 to reapG2325 is comeG2064; for the harvestG2326 of the earthG1093 is ripe. 16And he that satG2521 on the cloudG3507 castG906 his sickleG1407 upon the earthG1093; and the earthG1093 was reapedG2325.
17And another angelG32 cameG1831 out from the templeG3485 which is in heavenG3772, he alsoG2532 having a sharpG3691 sickleG1407. 18And another angelG32 cameG1831 out from the altarG2379, he that hath powerG1849 over fireG4442; and he called with a greatG3173 voiceG5456 to him that had the sharpG3691 sickleG1407, sayingG3004, SendG3992 forthG1831 thy sharpG3691 sickleG1407, and gatherG5166 the clusters of the vineG288 of the earthG1093; for her grapes are fully ripe. 19And the angelG32 castG906 his sickleG1407 into the earthG1093, and gatheredG5166 the vintage of the earthG1093, and castG906 it into the winepressG3025, the greatG3173 winepressG3025, of the wrathG2372 of GodG2316. 20And the winepressG3025 was troddenG3961 without the cityG4172, and there cameG1831 out bloodG129 from the winepressG3025, evenG2532 unto the bridles of the horsesG2462, as farG891 as a thousandG5507 and sixG1812 hundredG1812 furlongs.
