Revelation 20
Darby Bible
1And I sawG3708 an angelG32 descendingG2597 from the heavenG3772, having the keyG2807 of the abyssG12, and a greatG3173 chainG254 in his handG5495. 2And he laidG2902 holdG2902 of the dragonG1404, the ancientG744 serpentG3789 who isG1510 [the] devilG1228 and SatanG4567, and boundG1210 him a thousandG5507 yearsG2094, 3and castG906 him into the abyssG12, and shutG2808 [it] and sealedG4972 [it] over him, that he should not any moreG2089 deceiveG4105 the nationsG1484 until the thousandG5507 yearsG2094 were completed; after these thingsG3778 he must be loosedG3089 for a little timeG5550. 4And I sawG3708 thronesG2362; and they satG2523 upon them, and judgmentG2917 was givenG1325 to them; and the soulsG5590 of those beheaded on accountG3056 of the testimonyG3141 of JesusG2424, and on accountG3056 of the wordG3056 of 1GodG2316; and those who had not done homage to the beastG2342 nor to his imageG1504, and had not receivedG2983 the markG5480 on their foreheadG3359 and handG5495; and they livedG2198 and reignedG936 with the ChristG5547 a thousandG5507 yearsG2094: 5the restG3062 of the deadG3498 did not liveG2198 till the thousandG5507 yearsG2094 had been completed. This [is] the firstG4413 resurrectionG386. 6Blessed and holyG40 he who has partG3313 in the firstG4413 resurrectionG386: over these the secondG1208 deathG2288 has no powerG1849; but they shall beG1510 priestsG2409 of 2GodG2316 and of the ChristG5547, and shall reignG936 with him a thousandG5507 yearsG2094. 7And whenG3752 the thousandG5507 yearsG2094 have been completed, SatanG4567 shall be loosedG3089 from his prisonG5438, 8and shall goG1831 out to deceiveG4105 the nationsG1484 which [are] in the fourG5064 cornersG1137 of the earthG1093, Gog and Magog, to gatherG4863 them togetherG4863 to the warG4171, whose numberG706 [is] as the sandG285 of the seaG2281. 9And they wentG305 up on the breadthG4114 of the earthG1093, and surrounded the camp of the saintsG40 and the belovedG25 cityG4172: and fireG4442 cameG2597 downG2597 [from 3God] out of the heavenG3772 and devouredG2719 them. 10And the devilG1228 who deceivedG4105 them was castG906 into the lakeG3041 of fireG4442 and brimstoneG2303, whereG3699 [are] both the beastG2342 and the falseG5578 prophetG5578; and they shall be tormentedG928 dayG2250 and nightG3571 for the agesG165 of agesG165. 11And I sawG3708 a greatG3173 whiteG3022 throneG2362, and him that satG2521 on it, from whose faceG4383 the earthG1093 and the heavenG3772 fledG5343, and placeG5117 was not foundG2147 for them. 12And I sawG3708 the deadG3498, greatG3173 and smallG3398, standingG2476 before the throneG2362, and booksG975 wereG1510 openedG455; and another bookG975 wasG1510 openedG455, which isG1510 [that] of lifeG2222. And the deadG3498 wereG1510 judgedG2919 out of the thingsG3739 writtenG1125 in the booksG975 accordingG2596 to their worksG2041. 13And the seaG2281 gaveG1325 up the deadG3498 which [were] in it, and deathG2288 and hadesG86 gaveG1325 up the deadG3498 which [were] in them; and they were judgedG2919 each accordingG2596 to their worksG2041: 14and deathG2288 and hadesG86 wereG1510 castG906 into the lakeG3041 of fireG4442. This isG1510 the secondG1208 deathG2288, [evenG2532] the lakeG3041 of fireG4442. 15And if any oneG5100 was not foundG2147 writtenG1125 in the bookG976 of lifeG2222, he was castG906 into the lakeG3041 of fireG4442.
