Jeremiah 8:13-17
I will utterly take them away, saith Jehovah: there are no grapes on the vineH1612, nor figsH8384 on the fig-tree; and the leafH5929 is faded: and I will giveH5414 them up to those that shall passH5674 over them.
WhyH4100 do we sitH3427 still? Assemble yourselves, and let us enter into the fenced citiesH5892, and let us be silent there: for Jehovah our 1GodH430 hath put us to silence, and givenH8248 us waterH4325 of gall to drinkH8248, because we have sinnedH2398 against Jehovah.
PeaceH7965 is looked for, and there is no goodH2896; a timeH6256 of healingH4832, and behold, terrorH1205.
The snorting of his horsesH5483 is heardH8085 from DanH1835: the whole landH776 trembleth at the soundH6963 of the neighing of his steeds, and they comeH935, and devourH398 the landH776, and all it contains, the cityH5892 and those that dwellH3427 therein.
For behold, I sendH7971 among you serpents, vipers against which there is no charmH3908, and they shall bite you, saith Jehovah.
