Jeremiah 8:11-14
And they have healedH7495 the breach of the daughterH1323 of my peopleH5971 lightly, sayingH559, PeaceH7965, peaceH7965! when there is no peaceH7965.
Are they ashamedH954 that they have committed abominationH8441? Nay, they are not at all ashamedH954, and they knowH3045 not how to blush. ThereforeH3651 shall they fallH5307 among them that fallH5307: in the timeH6256 of their visitation they shall stumbleH3782, saith Jehovah.
I will utterly take them away, saith Jehovah: there are no grapes on the vineH1612, nor figsH8384 on the fig-tree; and the leafH5929 is faded: and I will giveH5414 them up to those that shall passH5674 over them.
WhyH4100 do we sitH3427 still? Assemble yourselves, and let us enter into the fenced citiesH5892, and let us be silent there: for Jehovah our 1GodH430 hath put us to silence, and givenH8248 us waterH4325 of gall to drinkH8248, because we have sinnedH2398 against Jehovah.
