Jeremiah 51:5-14
For IsraelH3478 is not forsaken, nor JudahH3063 of his 1GodH430, of Jehovah of hostsH6635; for their landH776 is fullH4390 of guiltH817 against the HolyH6918 OneH6918 of IsraelH3478.
FleeH5127 out of the midstH8432 of BabylonH894, and saveH4422 every manH376 his lifeH5315; be ye not cut off in her iniquityH5771: for this is the timeH6256 of Jehovah's vengeanceH5360: he shall render unto her a recompence.
BabylonH894 hath been a golden cupH3563 in Jehovah's handH3027, that made all the earthH776 drunken: the nationsH1471 have drunkH7937 of her wineH3196; thereforeH3651 have the nationsH1471 becomeH7937 mad.
BabylonH894 is suddenlyH6597 fallenH5307 and ruined. Howl over her; takeH3947 balmH6875 for her painH4341, if so be she may be healedH7495.
We have treated BabylonH894, but she is not healedH7495: forsakeH5800 her, and let us go every oneH376 into his own country; for her judgmentH4941 reacheth unto the heavensH8064, and is liftedH5375 up to the skies.
Jehovah hath broughtH935 forthH3318 our righteousnessH6666: comeH935, and let us declare in ZionH6726 the workH4639 of Jehovah our 2GodH430.
Sharpen the arrowsH2671; take the shieldsH7982. Jehovah hath stirredH5782 up the spiritH7307 of the kingsH4428 of the Medes; for his purposeH4209 is against BabylonH894, to destroyH7843 it; for this is the vengeanceH5360 of Jehovah, the vengeanceH5360 of his templeH1964.
LiftH5375 up a banner towards the wallsH2346 of BabylonH894, makeH6213 the watchH8104 strongH2388, setH6965 the watchmenH8104, prepareH3559 the ambushesH693; for Jehovah hath both devised and done that which he spokeH1696 against the inhabitantsH3427 of BabylonH894.
Thou that dwellest upon manyH7227 watersH4325, abundant in treasuresH214, thine endH7093 is comeH935, the measure of thy rapacity.
Jehovah of hostsH6635 hath swornH7650 by himself, I will assuredly fillH4390 thee with menH120, as with caterpillars; and they shall raise a shoutH1959 against thee.
