Jeremiah 5:19-25
And it shall come to pass, when ye shall sayH559, Wherefore hath Jehovah our 1GodH430 done all these thingsH428 unto us? then shalt thou sayH559 to them, As ye have forsaken me, and servedH5647 strangeH2114 2godsH430 in your landH776, soH3651 shall ye serveH5647 strangersH2114 in a landH776 that is not yours.
DeclareH5046 this in the houseH1004 of JacobH3290, and publish it in JudahH3063, sayingH559,
HearH8085 now this, O foolish and heartless peopleH5971, who have eyesH5869 and seeH7200 not; who have earsH241, and hearH8085 not.
Will ye not fearH3372 me? saith Jehovah. Will ye not trembleH2342 at my presenceH6440, who have setH7760 the sandH2344 a bound for the seaH3220 by a perpetual decreeH2706, and it shall not passH5674 it? and its waves toss themselves, but they do not prevailH3201; and they roarH1993, yet can they not passH5674 over it?
But this peopleH5971 hath a stubbornH5637 and a rebelliousH4784 heartH3820; they have turnedH5493 asideH5493 and are gone.
And they sayH559 not in their heartH3824, Let us now fearH3372 Jehovah our 3GodH430, that giveth rainH1653, both the early and the latter, in its season; who preserveth unto us the appointed weeksH7620 of harvestH7105.
Your iniquitiesH5771 have turnedH5186 away these thingsH428, and your sinsH2403 have withholden from you what is goodH2896.
