Jeremiah 5:19-25
19And it shall come to pass, when ye shall sayH559, Wherefore hath Jehovah our GodH430 done all these thingsH428 unto us? then shalt thou sayH559 unto them, Like as ye have forsaken me, and servedH5647 foreign godsH430 in your landH776, soH3651 shall ye serveH5647 strangersH2114 in a landH776 that is not yours.
20DeclareH5046 ye this in the houseH1004 of JacobH3290, and publish it in JudahH3063, sayingH559, 21HearH8085 now this, O foolish peopleH5971, and without understanding; that have eyesH5869, and seeH7200 not; that have earsH241, and hearH8085 not: 22FearH3372 ye not me? saith Jehovah: will ye not trembleH2342 at my presenceH6440, who have placedH7760 the sandH2344 for the bound of the seaH3220, by a perpetual decreeH2706, that it cannot passH5674 it? and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevailH3201; though they roarH1993, yet can they not passH5674 over it. 23But this peopleH5971 hath a revolting and a rebelliousH4784 heartH3820; they areH1961 revolted and gone. 24Neither sayH559 they in their heartH3824, Let us now fearH3372 Jehovah our GodH430, that giveth rainH1653, both the former and the latter, in its season; that preserveth unto us the appointed weeksH7620 of the harvestH7105. 25Your iniquitiesH5771 have turnedH5186 away these thingsH428, and your sinsH2403 have withholden goodH2896 from you.
