Jeremiah 49:23-27
Concerning DamascusH1834. HamathH2574 is putH954 to shameH954, and ArpadH774; for they have heardH8085 evilH7451 tidings, they are meltedH4127 awayH4127: there is distress on the seaH3220; it cannot be quietH8252.
DamascusH1834 is grown feeble: she turneth herself to fleeH5127, and terror hath seizedH270 on her; troubleH6869 and sorrows have takenH270 holdH2388 of her as of a woman in travail.
HowH349 is not the townH7151 of praiseH8416 forsaken, the cityH5892 of my joyH4885!
ThereforeH3651 shall her youngH970 menH376 fallH5307 in her streets, and all the menH376 of warH4421 be cut off in that dayH3117, saith Jehovah of hostsH6635.
And I will kindleH3341 a fireH784 in the wallH2346 of DamascusH1834, and it shall consumeH398 the palaces of Ben-HadadH1130.
