Jeremiah 44:2-7

2ThusH3541 saith Jehovah of hostsH6635, the 1GodH430 of IsraelH3478: Ye have seenH7200 all the evilH7451 that I have broughtH935 upon JerusalemH3389, and upon all the citiesH5892 of JudahH3063; and behold they are, this dayH3117, a wasteH2723, and no man dwelleth therein,

3because of their wickednessH7451 which they have committed to provokeH3707 me to angerH3707, in that they went to burn incenseH6999 to serveH5647 otherH312 2godsH430 which they knewH3045 not, they, [nor] ye, nor your fathersH1.

4And I sentH7971 unto you all my servantsH5650 the prophetsH5030, risingH7925 earlyH7925 and sendingH7971, sayingH559, Oh, do not this abominable thingH1697 which I hateH8130!

5But they hearkened not, nor inclinedH5186 their earH241 to turnH7725 from their wickednessH7451, to burn no incenseH6999 unto otherH312 3godsH430.

6And my fury and mine angerH639 wasH1961 pouredH5413 forth, and wasH1961 kindled in the citiesH5892 of JudahH3063 and in the streetsH2351 of JerusalemH3389; and they are becomeH1961 a wasteH2723, a desolationH8077, as at this dayH3117.

7And nowH6258 thusH3541 saith Jehovah the 4GodH430 of hostsH6635, the 5GodH430 of IsraelH3478: Wherefore commit ye greatH1419 evilH7451 against your soulsH5315, to cutH3772 off from you manH376 and womanH802, infant and suckling, out of the midstH8432 of JudahH3063, to leaveH3498 you no remnantH7611;
