And Nebuzar-adan the captain of the body-guard carried away captive into BabylonH894 the restH3499 of the peopleH5971 that were leftH7604 in the cityH5892, and the deserters that had deserted to him, with the restH3499 of the peopleH5971 that were leftH7604.
But Nebuzar-adan the captain of the body-guard leftH7604 [certain] of the peopleH5971, the poorH1800 who had nothingH369, in the landH776 of JudahH3063, and gaveH5414 them vineyardsH3754 and fields at the same time.
And Nebuchadrezzar kingH4428 of BabylonH894 had given charge concerning JeremiahH3414 by Nebuzar-adan the captain of the body-guard, sayingH559,
TakeH3947 him, and keep an eyeH5869 upon him, and do him no harmH7451; but do unto him even as he shall sayH1696 unto thee.
So Nebuzar-adan the captain of the body-guard sentH7971, and Nebushazban, chief chamberlain, and Nergal-sharezer, chief magian, and all the kingH4428 of Babylon's princes,
even they sentH7971, and tookH3947 JeremiahH3414 out of the courtH2691 of the guardH4307 and committed him to GedaliahH1436 the sonH1121 of AhikamH296 the sonH1121 of ShaphanH8227, that he should conduct him awayH7971 home. And he dweltH3427 among the peopleH5971.
