Jeremiah 38:2-4
2ThusH3541 saith Jehovah: He that remaineth in this cityH5892 shall dieH4191 by the swordH2719, by the famineH7458, and by the pestilenceH1698; but he that goeth forthH3318 to the ChaldeansH3778 shall live; and he shall have his lifeH5315 for a prey, and shall live.
3ThusH3541 saith Jehovah: This cityH5892 shall certainly be givenH5414 into the handH3027 of the kingH4428 of Babylon's armyH2428, and he shall takeH3920 it.
4And the princesH8269 saidH559 unto the kingH4428, Let this manH376, we pray thee, be putH4191 to deathH4191; for why should he weaken the handsH3027 of the menH376 of warH4421 that remainH7604 in this cityH5892, and the handsH3027 of all the peopleH5971, in speakingH1696 to them according to these wordsH1697? for this manH376 seeketh not the welfareH7965 of this peopleH5971, but the hurt.
