Jeremiah 38:2-4
2ThusH3541 saith Jehovah, He that abideth in this cityH5892 shall dieH4191 by the swordH2719, by the famineH7458, and by the pestilenceH1698; but he that goeth forthH3318 to the ChaldeansH3778 shall live, and his lifeH5315 shall beH1961 unto him for a prey, and he shall live.
3ThusH3541 saith Jehovah, This cityH5892 shall surely be givenH5414 into the handH3027 of the armyH2428 of the kingH4428 of BabylonH894, and he shall takeH3920 it.
4Then the princesH8269 saidH559 unto the kingH4428, Let this manH376, we pray thee, be putH4191 to deathH4191; forasmuch as he weakeneth the handsH3027 of the menH376 of warH4421 that remainH7604 in this cityH5892, and the handsH3027 of all the peopleH5971, in speakingH1696 such wordsH1697 unto them: for this manH376 seeketh not the welfareH7965 of this peopleH5971, but the hurt.
