Jeremiah 38:17-20
And JeremiahH3414 saidH559 unto ZedekiahH6667, ThusH3541 saith Jehovah the 1GodH430 of hostsH6635, the 2GodH430 of IsraelH3478: If thou wilt freely goH3318 forthH3318 to the kingH4428 of Babylon's princesH8269, then thy soulH5315 shall liveH2421, and this cityH5892 shall not be burnedH8313 with fireH784; and thou shalt liveH2421, and thy houseH1004.
But if thou wilt not goH3318 forthH3318 to the kingH4428 of Babylon's princesH8269, then shall this cityH5892 be givenH5414 into the handH3027 of the ChaldeansH3778, and they shall burnH8313 it with fireH784, and thou shalt not escapeH4422 out of their handH3027.
And kingH4428 ZedekiahH6667 saidH559 unto JeremiahH3414, I am afraid of the JewsH3064 that have deserted to the ChaldeansH3778, lestH6435 they giveH5414 me over into their handH3027, and they mock me.
And JeremiahH3414 saidH559, They shall not giveH5414 [thee] over. Hearken, I beseech thee, unto the voiceH6963 of Jehovah, in that which I speakH1696 unto thee; so shall it be wellH3190 unto thee, and thy soulH5315 shall liveH2421.
