Jeremiah 38:17-20
Then saidH559 JeremiahH3414 unto ZedekiahH6667, Thus saithH559 YhwhH3068, the GodH430 of ArmiesH6635, the GodH430 of IsraelH3478; If thou wilt assuredlyH3318 go forthH3318 unto the kingH4428 of Babylon’sH894 princesH8269, then thy soulH5315 shall liveH2421, and this cityH5892 shall not be burnedH8313 with fireH784; and thou shalt liveH2421, and thine houseH1004:
But if thou wilt not go forthH3318 to the kingH4428 of Babylon’sH894 princesH8269, then shall this cityH5892 be givenH5414 into the handH3027 of the ChaldeansH3778, and they shall burnH8313 it with fireH784, and thou shalt not escape outH4422 of their handH3027.
And ZedekiahH6667 the kingH4428 saidH559 unto JeremiahH3414, I am afraidH1672 of the JewsH3064 that are fallenH5307 to the ChaldeansH3778, lest they deliverH5414 me into their handH3027, and they mockH5953 me.
But JeremiahH3414 saidH559, They shall not deliverH5414 thee. ObeyH8085, I beseech thee, the voiceH6963 of YhwhH3068, which I speakH1696 unto thee: so it shall be wellH3190 unto thee, and thy soulH5315 shall liveH2421.
