Jeremiah 33:4-13
For thusH3541 saith Jehovah the 1GodH430 of IsraelH3478 concerning the housesH1004 of this cityH5892, and concerning the housesH1004 of the kingsH4428 of JudahH3063, which are thrown downH5422 because of the mounds and because of the swordH2719:
They comeH935 to fightH3898 with the ChaldeansH3778, but to fillH4390 them with the dead bodies of the menH120 whom I have slain in mine angerH639 and in my fury, and for all whose wickednessH7451 I have hidH5641 my faceH6440 from this cityH5892.
Behold, I will apply a healingH4832 dressing to it and cure, and I will healH7495 them, and will revealH1540 unto them an abundance of peaceH7965 and truthH571.
And I will turnH7725 the captivityH7622 of JudahH3063 and the captivityH7622 of IsraelH3478, and will buildH1129 them, as at the beginning.
And I will cleanseH2891 them from all their iniquityH5771, whereby they have sinnedH2398 against me, and I will pardon all their iniquitiesH5771, whereby they have sinnedH2398 against me, and whereby they have transgressedH6586 against me.
And it shall beH1961 to me a nameH8034 of joyH8342, a praiseH8416 and a gloryH8597 before all the nationsH1471 of the earthH776, which shall hearH8085 of all the goodH2896 that I do unto them; and they shall fearH6342 and trembleH7264 for all the goodH2896 and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it.
ThusH3541 saith Jehovah: In this placeH4725 of which ye sayH559, It is waste, without manH120 and without beast! in the citiesH5892 of JudahH3063 and in the streetsH2351 of JerusalemH3389 that are desolateH8074, without manH120, and without inhabitantH3427, and without beast,
there shall again be heard the voiceH6963 of mirth and the voiceH6963 of joyH8057, the voiceH6963 of the bridegroom and the voiceH6963 of the brideH3618, the voiceH6963 of them that sayH559, GiveH3034 ye thanksH3034 unto Jehovah of hostsH6635; for Jehovah is goodH2896, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for everH5769, — of them that bringH935 thanksgivingH8426 unto the houseH1004 of Jehovah. For I will turnH7725 the captivityH7622 of the landH776 as in the beginning, saith Jehovah.
ThusH3541 saith Jehovah of hostsH6635: In this placeH4725 which is waste, without manH120 and without beast, and in all the citiesH5892 thereof, there shall againH5750 beH1961 a habitation of shepherdsH7462 causing [their] flocksH6629 to lieH7257 down.
In the citiesH5892 of the hill-country, in the citiesH5892 of the lowland, and in the citiesH5892 of the southH5045, and in the landH776 of BenjaminH1144, and in the environs of JerusalemH3389, and in the citiesH5892 of JudahH3063, shall the flocksH6629 passH5674 againH5750 under the handsH3027 of him that counteth [them], saith Jehovah.
