Revised Version 1895
Jeremiah 33:4-13
For thusH3541 saith the LORDH3068, the GodH430 of IsraelH3478, concerning the housesH1004 of this cityH5892, and concerning the housesH1004 of the kingsH4428 of JudahH3063, whichH2719 are brokenH5422 downH5422 to makeH3588 a defence againstH5921 the mounts, and againstH5921 the swordH2719:
they comeH935 to fightH3898 with the ChaldeansH3778, but it is to fillH4390 them with the deadH6297 bodiesH6297 of menH120, whomH834 I have slainH5221 in mine angerH639 and in my furyH2534, and for allH3605 whoseH834 wickednessH7451 I have hidH5641 my faceH6440 from this cityH5892.
BeholdH2005, I will bringH5927 it healthH724 and cure, and I will cure them; and I will revealH1540 unto them abundanceH6283 of peaceH7965 and truthH571.
And I will causeH7725 the captivityH7622 of JudahH3063 and the captivityH7622 of IsraelH3478 to returnH7725, and will buildH1129 them, as at the firstH7223.
And I will cleanseH2891 them from allH3605 their iniquityH5771, wherebyH834 they have sinnedH2398 againstH2398 meH2398; and I will pardonH5545 allH3605 their iniquitiesH5771, wherebyH834 they have sinnedH2398 againstH2398 meH2398, and wherebyH834 they have transgressedH6586 againstH2398 meH2398.
And this city shall be to meH5921 for a nameH8034 of joyH8342, for a praiseH8416 and for a gloryH8597, beforeH5921 allH3605 the nationsH1471 of the earthH776, whichH834 shall hearH8085 allH3605 the goodH2896 that I doH6213 unto them, and shall fearH6342 and trembleH7264 for allH3605 the goodH2896 and for allH3605 the peaceH7965 that I procure unto it.
ThusH3541 saith the LORDH3068: Yet againH5750 there shall be heardH8085 in this placeH4725, whereof ye sayH559, It is wasteH8074, withoutH369 manH120 and withoutH369 beastH929, evenH5750 in the citiesH5892 of JudahH3063, and in the streetsH2351 of JerusalemH3389, that are desolateH8074, withoutH369 manH120 and withoutH369 inhabitantH3427 and withoutH369 beastH929,
the voiceH6963 of joyH8057 and the voiceH6963 of gladnessH8057, the voiceH6963 of the bridegroom and the voiceH6963 of the brideH3618, the voiceH6963 of them that sayH559, GiveH3034 thanksH3034 to the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635, for the LORDH3068 is goodH2896, for his mercyH3068 endureth for everH5769: and of them that bringH935 sacrificesH8426 of thanksgivingH8426 intoH935 the houseH1004 of the LORDH3068. For I will causeH7725 the captivityH7622 of the landH776 to returnH7725 as at the firstH7223, saith the LORDH3068.
ThusH3541 saith the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635: Yet againH5750 shall there be in this placeH4725, whichH2088 is waste, withoutH369 manH120 and withoutH369 beastH929, and in allH3605 the citiesH5892 thereof, an habitation of shepherdsH7462 causing their flocksH6629 to lieH7257 downH7257.
In the citiesH5892 of the hillH2022 countryH2022, in the citiesH5892 of the lowlandH8219, and in the citiesH5892 of the SouthH5045, and in the landH776 of BenjaminH1144, and in the placesH559 aboutH5439 JerusalemH3389, and in the citiesH5892 of JudahH3063, shall the flocksH6629 againH5750 passH5674 underH5921 the handsH3027 of him that telleth them, saith the LORDH3068.
