Jeremiah 3:24-25
24But shameH1322 hath devouredH398 the labour of our fathersH1 from our youthH5271; their flocksH6629 and their herdsH1241, their sonsH1121 and their daughtersH1323. 25We lieH7901 down in our shameH1322, and our confusion covereth us; for we have sinnedH2398 against Jehovah our 1GodH430, we and our fathersH1, from our youthH5271 even unto this dayH3117, and have not hearkened to the voiceH6963 of Jehovah our 2GodH430.
