Jeremiah 2:7-9
7And I broughtH935 you into a fruitful landH776, to eatH398 the fruitH6529 thereof and the goodH2898 thereof; and ye entered and defiledH2930 my landH776, and madeH7760 my heritage an abominationH8441.
8The priestsH3548 saidH559 not, WhereH346 is Jehovah? and they that handled the lawH8451 knewH3045 me not; and the shepherdsH7462 transgressedH6586 against me; and the prophetsH5030 prophesiedH5012 by BaalH1168, and walkedH1980 after [things that] do not profitH3276.
9ThereforeH3651 will I yetH5750 plead with you, saith Jehovah, and with your children's children will I plead.
