Jeremiah 2:7-9
7And I broughtH935 you into a plentiful landH776, to eatH398 the fruitH6529 thereof and the goodnessH2898 thereof; but when ye entered, ye defiledH2930 my landH776, and madeH7760 my heritage an abominationH8441. 8The priestsH3548 saidH559 not, WhereH346 is Jehovah? and they that handle the lawH8451 knewH3045 me not: the rulers also transgressedH6586 against me, and the prophetsH5030 prophesiedH5012 by BaalH1168, and walkedH1980 after things that do not profitH3276.
9Wherefore I will yetH5750 contendH7378 with you, saith Jehovah, and with your children’s children will I contendH7378.
