Jeremiah 18:2-12
AriseH6965 and goH3381 down to the potter's houseH1004, and there I will cause thee to hearH8085 my wordsH1697.
And I wentH3381 downH3381 to the potter's houseH1004; and behold, he wrought a workH4399 on the wheels.
And the vesselH3627 that he madeH6213 was marred, as clay, in the handH3027 of the potterH3335; and he madeH6213 it again another vesselH3627, as seemed good to the potterH3335 to makeH6213.
And the wordH1697 of Jehovah came to me, sayingH559,
HouseH1004 of IsraelH3478, cannot I do with you as this potterH3335? saith Jehovah. Behold, as the clay in the potter's handH3027, soH3651 are ye in my handH3027, houseH1004 of IsraelH3478.
At the momentH7281 that I speakH1696 concerning a nationH1471 and concerning a kingdomH4467, to pluckH5428 up, and to breakH5422 down, and to destroyH6,
if that nationH1471, concerning which I have spokenH1696, turnH7725 from their evilH7451, then I will repent of the evilH7451 that I thought to do unto them.
And at the momentH7281 that I speakH1696 concerning a nationH1471 and concerning a kingdomH4467, to buildH1129 and to plantH5193,
if it do evilH7451 in my sight, that it hearken not unto my voiceH6963, then I will repentH5162 of the goodH2896 wherewith I saidH559 I would benefit them.
And nowH6258, speak to the menH376 of JudahH3063 and to the inhabitantsH3427 of JerusalemH3389, sayingH559, ThusH3541 saith Jehovah: Behold, I prepare evilH7451 against you, and devise a device against you: turnH7725 ye then every oneH376 from his evilH7451 wayH1870, and amend your waysH1870 and your doings.
But they sayH559, There is no hope; for we will walk after our own devices, and we will each oneH376 do [according to] the stubbornnessH8307 of his evilH7451 heartH3820.
