Jeremiah 16:5-9
For thusH3541 saith Jehovah: Enter not into the houseH1004 of wailing, neither goH935 to lamentH5594 or bemoan them; for I have taken away my peaceH7965 from this peopleH5971, saith Jehovah, the loving-kindness and the tender mercies.
Both greatH1419 and smallH6996 shall dieH4191 in this landH776: they shall not be buriedH6912; and none shall lamentH5594 for them, or cutH1413 themselves, nor makeH7139 themselves baldH7139 for them.
Nor shall they breakH6536 [bread] for them in mourningH60, to comfortH5162 them for the deadH4191; neither shall they giveH8248 them the cupH3563 of consolationsH8575 to drinkH8248 for their fatherH1 or for their motherH517.
And thou shalt not goH935 into the houseH1004 of feastingH4960, to sitH3427 with them, to eatH398 and to drinkH8354.
For thusH3541 saith Jehovah of hostsH6635, the 1GodH430 of IsraelH3478: Behold, I will cause to ceaseH7673 out of this placeH4725, before your eyesH5869, and in your daysH3117, the voiceH6963 of mirth and the voiceH6963 of joyH8057, the voiceH6963 of the bridegroom and the voiceH6963 of the brideH3618.
