Jeremiah 13:22-27
22And if thou sayH559 in thy heartH3824, Wherefore come these thingsH428 upon me? For the greatnessH7230 of thine iniquityH5771 are thy skirtsH7757 uncoveredH1540, [and] thy heelsH6119 have suffered violenceH2554. 23Can an Ethiopian changeH2015 his skinH5785, or a leopardH5246 his spots? [Then] may ye alsoH1571 do goodH3190, who are accustomed to do evilH7489. 24And I will scatterH6327 them as stubbleH7179 that passeth away by the windH7307 of the wildernessH4057. 25This shall be thy lotH1486, thy measured portionH4490 from me, saith Jehovah; because thou hast forgottenH7911 me, and confided in falsehoodH8267. 26Therefore will I alsoH1571 turn thy skirtsH7757 over thy faceH6440, and thy shameH7036 shall be seenH7200. 27Thine adulteriesH5004, and thy neighingsH4684, the lewdness of thy fornication, on the hillsH1389, in the fieldsH7704, — thine abominationsH8251, have I seenH7200. WoeH188 unto thee, JerusalemH3389! Wilt thou not be made cleanH2891? after how long a time yetH5750?
