Jeremiah 12:1-4
RighteousH6662 art thou, Jehovah, when I plead with thee; yet will I speakH1696 with thee of [thy] judgmentsH4941. Wherefore doth the wayH1870 of the wickedH7563 prosper? [wherefore] are all they at easeH7951 that dealH898 very treacherouslyH898?
Thou hast plantedH5193 them, they alsoH1571 have taken rootH8327: they advance, yea, they bring forth fruitH6529: thou art near in their mouthH6310, but farH7350 from their reins.
But thou, Jehovah, knowest me; thou hast seenH7200 me, and proved my heartH3820 toward thee. Drag them out like sheepH6629 for the slaughterH2028, and setH6942 them apartH6942 for the dayH3117 of slaughterH2028.
How long shall the landH776 mournH56, and the herbs of all the fieldsH7704 witherH3001? Because of the wickednessH7451 of them that dwellH3427 therein, the beasts and the birdsH5775 perish; for they sayH559, He will not seeH7200 our endH319.
