Jeremiah 11:15-19
What hath my belovedH3039 to do in my houseH1004, seeing that the more part practise their evilH7451 devices, and the holyH6944 fleshH1320 is passedH5674 from thee? When thou doest evilH7451, thenH227 thou rejoicest.
Jehovah had calledH7121 thy nameH8034, A green olive-tree, fair, of goodly fruitH6529: with the noise of a greatH1419 tumult he hath kindledH3341 fireH784 upon it, and its branchesH1808 are broken.
For Jehovah of hostsH6635, that plantedH5193 thee, hath pronounced evilH7451 against thee, for the evilH7451 of the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478 and of the houseH1004 of JudahH3063, which they have done for themselves, to provokeH3707 me to angerH3707 in burning incenseH6999 unto BaalH1168.
And Jehovah hath given me knowledge, and I knowH3045 [it]; thenH227 thou shewedst me their doings.
And I was like a tame lambH3532 [that] is led to the slaughterH2873; and I knewH3045 not that they devised devices against me, [saying,] Let us destroyH7843 the treeH6086 with the fruit thereof, and let us cutH3772 him off from the landH776 of the living, that his nameH8034 may be no more rememberedH2142.
