Acts 4:1-13
And as they were speakingG2980 to the peopleG2992, the priestsG2409 and captainG4755 of the temple and the SadduceesG4523 cameG2186 upon them,
being distressed on accountG1223 of their teachingG1321 the peopleG2992 and preaching by JesusG2424 the resurrectionG386 from among [the] deadG3498;
and they laidG5087 handsG5495 on them, and putG5087 them in ward till the morrow; for it wasG1510 alreadyG2235 eveningG2073.
But manyG4183 of those who had heardG191 the wordG3056 believedG4100; and the numberG706 of the menG435 had becomeG1096 [about] fiveG4002 thousandG5505.
And it cameG1096 to passG1096 on the morrow that their rulersG758 and eldersG4245 and scribesG1122 were gatheredG4863 togetherG4863 at JerusalemG2419,
and AnnasG452 the highG749 priestG749, and CaiaphasG2533, and JohnG2491, and AlexanderG223, and as manyG3745 as wereG1510 of [the] highG749 priestly familyG1085;
and having placed them in the midstG3319 they inquiredG4441, In what powerG1411 or in what nameG3686 have ye done this?
Then PeterG4074, filledG4130 with [the] HolyG40 SpiritG4151, saidG3004 to them, RulersG758 of the peopleG2992 and eldersG4245 [of Israel],
if we this dayG4594 are called upon to answer as to the good deed [done] to the infirm manG444, how he has been healed,
beG1510 it known to you all, and to all the peopleG2992 of IsraelG2474, that in the nameG3686 of JesusG2424 ChristG5547 the Nazaraean, whom ye have crucifiedG4717, whom 1GodG2316 has raisedG1453 from among [the] deadG3498, by him this [manG3778] standsG3936 here before you soundG5199 [in body].
He isG1510 the stoneG3037 which has beenG1510 set at nought by you the builders, which isG1510 becomeG1096 the cornerG1137 stoneG3037.
And salvationG4991 isG1510 in noneG3762 otherG243, for neither isG1510 there another nameG3686 under heavenG3772 which isG1510 givenG1325 among menG444 by which we must beG1510 savedG4982.
But seeingG2334 the boldnessG3954 of PeterG4074 and JohnG2491, and perceiving that they wereG1510 unlettered and uninstructed menG444, they wonderedG2296; and they recognised them that they wereG1510 with JesusG2424.
