Jesus Comforts His Disciples

2In My Father’sπατρόςpatrosG3962houseοἰκίᾳoikiaG3614are manyπολλαίpollaiG4183dwellingG3438placesG3438;ifεἰeiG1487it were not so, I would have toldG3004you; forI goπορεύομαιporeuomaiG4198to prepareἑτοιμάσαιhetoimasaiG2090a placeτόπονtoponG5117for you.

3IfἐὰνeanG1437I goπορευθῶporeuthōG4198and prepareἑτοιμάσωhetoimasōG2090a placeτόπονtoponG5117for you,I will comeἔρχομαιerchomaiG2064againπάλινpalinG3825and receiveπαραλήμψομαιparalēmpsomaiG3880you to MyselfG1683, thatwhereὅπουhopouG3699I amG1510, thereyou may be alsoG2532.

6JesusἸησοῦς·IēsousG2424saidλέγειlegeiG3004to him,“I amεἰμιeimiG1510the wayὁδὸςhodosG3598, andthe truthἀλήθειαalētheiaG225, andthe lifeζωή.zōēG2222;noG3762oneοὐδεὶςoudeisG3762comesἔρχεταιerchetaiG2064to the FatherπατέραpateraG3962but throughδι᾽di᾽G1223Me.

21He who hasἔχωνechōnG2192My commandmentsἐντολάςentolasG1785and keepsτηρῶνtērōnG5083them is the oneἐκεῖνόςekeinosG1565who lovesἀγαπῶνagapōnG25Me; andhe who lovesἀγαπῶνagapōnG25Me will be lovedἀγαπηθήσεταιagapēthēsetaiG25by My FatherπατρόςpatrosG3962,and I will loveἀγαπήσωagapēsōG25him and willdiscloseἐμφανίσωemphanisōG1718MyselfG1683to him.”

24He who does not loveἀγαπῶνagapōnG25Medoes not keepτηρεῖ·tēreiG5083My wordsλόγουςlogousG3056; andthe wordλόγοςlogosG3056whichὃνhonG3739you hearἀκούετεakoueteG191is not MineG1699,but the Father’sπατρός.¶patrosG3962who sentπέμψαντόςpempsantosG3992Me.
