Luke 23:27-49
And a greatG4183 multitudeG4128 of the peopleG2992, and of womenG1135 who wailed and lamented him, followedG190 him.
And JesusG2424 turningG4762 round to them saidG3004, DaughtersG2364 of JerusalemG2419, do not weepG2799 over me, but weepG2799 over yourselves and over your childrenG5043;
for beholdG2400, daysG2250 are comingG2064 in which they will sayG3004, Blessed [are] the barrenG4723, and wombsG2836 that have not borne, and breastsG3149 that have not given suck.
Then shall they beginG757 to sayG3004 to the mountainsG3735, FallG4098 upon us; and to the hills, CoverG2572 us:
for if these thingsG3778 are done in the green treeG3586, what shall take placeG1096 in the dryG3584?
NowG1161 twoG1417 othersG2087 alsoG2532, malefactors, were ledG71 with him to be put to death.
And whenG3753 they cameG2064 to the placeG5117 which is calledG2564 SkullG2898, there they crucifiedG4717 him, and the malefactors, oneG3739 on the rightG1188 handG1188, the other on the left.
And JesusG2424 saidG3004, FatherG3962, forgiveG863 them, for they know not what they do. And, parting out his garmentsG2440, they castG906 lotsG2819.
And the peopleG2992 stoodG2476 beholding, and the rulersG758 alsoG2532 [with them] sneered, sayingG3004, He has savedG4982 othersG243; let him saveG4982 himself if this isG1510 the ChristG5547, the chosen one of 1GodG2316.
And the soldiersG4757 alsoG2532 made game of him, comingG4334 up offeringG4374 him vinegar,
and sayingG3004, If thou beG1510 the kingG935 of the JewsG2453, saveG4982 thyself.
And there wasG1510 alsoG2532 an inscriptionG1923 [written] over him in Greek, and Roman, and Hebrew letters: This isG1510 the KingG935 of the JewsG2453.
NowG1161 oneG1520 of the malefactors who had beenG1510 hangedG2910 spokeG3004 insultingly to him, sayingG3004, Art not thou the ChristG5547? saveG4982 thyself and us.
But the otherG2087 answeringG611 rebukedG2008 him, saying, Dost thou too not fearG5399 2GodG2316, thou that art under the sameG846 judgmentG2917?
and we indeed justlyG1346, for we receiveG618 the just recompense of what we have done; but this [manG3778] has done nothing amiss.
And he saidG3004 to JesusG2424, RememberG3403 me, [Lord,] whenG3752 thou comest in thy kingdomG932.
And Jesus saidG3004 to him, Verily I sayG3004 to thee, To-day shalt thou beG1510 with me in paradiseG3857.
And it wasG1510 about [the] sixthG1623 hourG5610, and there cameG1096 darknessG4655 over the wholeG3650 landG1093 until [the] ninth hourG5610.
And the sunG2246 was darkened, and the veilG2665 of the templeG3485 rent in the midstG3319.
And JesusG2424, having cried with a loudG3173 voiceG5456, saidG3004, FatherG3962, into thy handsG5495 I commitG3908 my spiritG4151. And having saidG3004 this, he expired.
NowG1161 the centurionG1543, seeingG3708 what took placeG1096, glorifiedG1392 3GodG2316, sayingG3004, In very deed this manG444 wasG1510 justG1342.
And all the crowdsG3793 who had comeG1096 together to that sight, having seenG2334 the thingsG3778 that took placeG1096, returnedG5290, beatingG5180 [their] breastsG4738.
And all those who knew him stoodG2476 afar off, the womenG1135 alsoG2532 who had followed him from GalileeG1056, beholding these thingsG3778.
